Lions playing well but this is not the Swans at their best. They are a little flat and it's not Sydney that have dominated all year. They need to be careful they don't drop five goals down by the middle.

There was that camera shot to some dogs supporters in the crowd that summed it all up. One thing to break a huge record of no cups but the way we did it was one for the ages. Greatest win in my life and it doesn't matter it wasn't at the Mcg except we couldn't go.

Funny how little footy was replayed on tv in the old days. Am I right in remembering there a few highlights and then the match of the round. Maybe we were busy.

As much as I would enjoy seeing the Lions prevail, I think they may run out of puff in the Gf. Sure they will get an extra burst of adrenaline by sheer virtue they are playing for a cup but ultimately I feel the Swans will have fresher legs. It seems to me the lions have been playing out of their skins in several close and exhausting finals. They have traveled more too. Most likely all of this will have taken a toll in terms of energy and injuries and will ultimately be the difference.

Why do the Afl do often get the entertainment wrong. Why do we have cooked oseas acts? We have lots of great entertainment here in Oz. Not like the Superbowl are checking in here for performers. Katy Perry.... please. Wth.

Agree with Fritta. Petty to an extent. Probably didn't have the tank perhaps. I do think Jvr was the best of the bunch but at times gave up a tad early. Will miss Anb. Big time . Kozzie was good. But it's something we need to fix.

The last thing our dysfunctional forward line needs right now is a player like that. There's already way too little effort in applying fwd pressure. We have been poor and lazy ourselves in our fwd tackling and chasing and locking the ball in. JS would just be another aging player whose cost gets in the way of finding a solid big experienced fwd who can contribute at least five to seven more years.

Maybe but kinda sick of interstate clubs dominating the comp. They played an exciting brand of footy at least. But yea memories of that game with the penalty many moons ago.
