  1. Had to do the same once this season with sons team. Great seeing win.
  2. Maybe. Then again perhaps every match is a test until we win a Flag.
  3. Twas but in 2000 came up against one of best sides Essendon ever had.
  4. In a strange way this is another test game. A game we should win We have had a bad habit of getting ahead of ourselves and getting overconfident. A win against dogs will show we have grown up
  5. The Nill brothers. Have not seen them.
  6. Lever and Hibberd gone from bad to awesome. Anb and milkshake average to awesome. Tmac and viney back.

  14. Its true......hope the game hasnt passed him. Heres hoping he can be the Vince of old and find some forn like Jetta jyst did.
  15. We need you jv. Hope trac doesnt catch anything anywhere.
  16. Im waiting for dds book. The eternal optimist.... My life as a dees supporter. Nice words.
  17. Mac boys.......2 wonderful bookends. Special mention to O mac. He survived the Watsonian criticism and has come out a very good player.
  18. Yep.... I think i speak for most posters that we all like the bloke. For most seeing him fail would probably just be a validation of the club letting him go. As much as i like the guy i dont think i want him to win a Coleman somewhere else.
  19. I get your post but its the nature of the beast so to speak. Think john mcenroe.
  20. Hope we all get to see him soon.
  21. I for one like many was saddened by the clubs decision. I also thought in light of how well Jack played in the last 2 years it was a bad decision. Now that its all said and done I can be less emotive about it and accept while a good player of late JW was not and I doubt will ever be a star. The highlights of him playing so well against Cwood someone posted are probably the fondest memories we all have of him. Lets be brutally honest.... there are not too many more. Yes his disposal was clever and he was one of the best said shots going around and yes hes a good backup option if Hogan and Mcdonald are injured and one of the other 3 forwards is not up to par. But that's it. If the decision made Lever happen by just 10 to 20 % (which Im sure it did) than we should all see the bigger picture and move on.
  22. Don't forget too that it was his finest moment. As much as I wanted him to stay, I now accept that there were not many moments like this. (as good as it was).
