  1. I dont recall the media fawning over are shocking injury run last year.
  2. I was hoping the dogs would win week so they might not be as fired up against us. Now I feel we are all team where those things dont factor anymore.
  3. Good times are here again.
  4. And a shout out to essendon for Hibberd and Milkshake.
  5. Subperb. But hes still only in 3rd gear i reckon and will become our best player. Weid and garlett will struggle to get back in this side.
  6. Gus bs ability to run and make space and become the go to option is remarkable.
  7. Crap on crap.
  8. leave it to deever replied to McQueen's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Maybe we are becoming a destination club at last.
  9. As Bruce would say.........ooohhsay.
  10. Poor Vanders has had a shocking run.
  11. I believe trac will soon go to another level. Needs improve his goal kicking.
  12. Its true......hope the game hasnt passed him. Heres hoping he can be the Vince of old and find some forn like Jetta jyst did.
  13. We need you jv. Hope trac doesnt catch anything anywhere.
  14. Im waiting for dds book. The eternal optimist.... My life as a dees supporter. Nice words.
  15. Mac boys.......2 wonderful bookends. Special mention to O mac. He survived the Watsonian criticism and has come out a very good player.
  16. Yep.... I think i speak for most posters that we all like the bloke. For most seeing him fail would probably just be a validation of the club letting him go. As much as i like the guy i dont think i want him to win a Coleman somewhere else.
  17. I get your post but its the nature of the beast so to speak. Think john mcenroe.
  18. Hope we all get to see him soon.
  19. I for one like many was saddened by the clubs decision. I also thought in light of how well Jack played in the last 2 years it was a bad decision. Now that its all said and done I can be less emotive about it and accept while a good player of late JW was not and I doubt will ever be a star. The highlights of him playing so well against Cwood someone posted are probably the fondest memories we all have of him. Lets be brutally honest.... there are not too many more. Yes his disposal was clever and he was one of the best said shots going around and yes hes a good backup option if Hogan and Mcdonald are injured and one of the other 3 forwards is not up to par. But that's it. If the decision made Lever happen by just 10 to 20 % (which Im sure it did) than we should all see the bigger picture and move on.
  20. Don't forget too that it was his finest moment. As much as I wanted him to stay, I now accept that there were not many moments like this. (as good as it was).
  21. We probably shouldn't have had this poll.
  22. Hes a likeable enough bloke but I"m afraid that if he goes gangbusters this year I will feel a tad shortchanged and feel like he didnt do enough for Melbourne. Catch 22 for me. Best to just move on and accept that he will be pretty much the same player except when he plays his old team and like the rest of them seem to do .... kick a huge bag. Just the way it is. I do hope we that don't treat him like Scully though.
  23. For the sake of matrimonial harmony I watch this show by myself.
  24. Not to take anything away on a most deserving player..... But where is everyone else apart from Hibberd and Neville? I suppose TMAC but thats about it.
