TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Possibly or back to my conspiracy theory that Goody is holding a card up his sleeve.

Great call.

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I was looking at some stats and although Luke Jackson is doing a great job in the ruck as a ff has kicked one goal for five games. Is this accurate and is it enough? He is getting the ball to ground and helping Max win games but at this rate will be lucky to kick five goals for the year if he plays a full season. Needs to hit the scoreboard a lot more.

That old chestnut.

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Tx Travy14 I think Im just dissappointed not see one of those gun fwds in. Maybe the trade Tmac thread I scoffed at wasnt so bad except maybe trade Wied or Bbb. Not a pot shot at Fritta as hes been a star this year but I kinda almost hope he isnt cherry ripe and Goodys playing games.

I just dont get Melk and Fritta together. Its too short. Yea ..Fritta if fit is a lock. Not only are we too short but Melk has played 2 games this year. One poor and one just above average. Wied and Bbb with ten goals are not rewarded. I just dont get the Jake love.

Except we have our own equivalents to Lynch and Riewoldt but they wont be playing. Mmmm.

Or Melksham I dont understand how you could play the two of them with Wied or Bbb in the stands. Sure im not alone. Great news about May.

AFL Mid Season Draft 2021
He was better in terms of goals but hes been playing a somewhat different role this year. Anyway in terms of being his best he is pretty close to it. Except for one average game,he has been outstanding.

AFL Mid Season Draft 2021
What you say makes some sense or I guess cents but have not injurues reduced us to a shortage? Best to keep as many as possible if we can afford it. Besides give Tom his dues. We would not be in the eight without him. What do we need anyway? Maybe a small defender but thats about it imho. If he keeps playing like he has been it would be more appropriate to trade someone else.

Demons Defence Best Since 1965
Did not think we would be reading threads like this. Remember when May came and was acused of being unfit and unprofessional? Or Lever being very inconsistent? Last year Adam T looked very shaky. So ok , not sure about the mighty Jetta who hasnt been his old self but wow talk about turn around. May is now the best defender in the comp no doubt about it. Lever has shown why we got him with his intercept marking, reading of play, attack on the ball and great leadership. Hunt has been a revelation. Gus is back to his old self. Rivers is going from strength to strength and his confidence is showing And Hibberd played his best game last week even though it was his first for the year. I do know this has been the best Ive seen in the last 30 years.

I dont think they will risk Fritta but its the way it will have to go down.

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I have been convincing myself that after 7 goals Wied is a must in. Listening to Goody I get the feeling reading bw the lines that it might be Bbb called up. Just a feeling but Im now wondering which would be the best. I guess Bbb is a big footy name as one of the best proven forwards in the last five years so theres that. Bringing him in is like adding our own Lynch so now Im thinking this is what will happen. One of them is a must and I cant wait to see how it pans out.

Demons Defence Best Since 1965
Gone are the days of Omac fumbling (sorry Oscar) and Frosty kicking to an opponent. Dr says my blood pressure is right back to normal.

No doubt about it... Its bigger and better than Trumpys walls. No greater joy than seeing Hunt turn on the burners.

Dreaming Dees
Being dreamimg for almost half a century. One day it must come true. Perhaps just maybe it might be a day this year. Yea...I believe its coming and boy how much we will love our flag when it does.

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Sam or Ben...what a tough choice. The more I think about the less I know Ben 3 years Coleman like except for last and who must strike fear in most defenders. Heres Sam ...of great stock and looked damaging several times who just kicked Seven goals Others have pointed out that Sam And Tom compete for the same spot and Tmac rightly wont be dropped. I think Sam will take LJs spot most of the time with Lj giving Max a chop out. Ben the week after against his old club..with I cant even guess to come out. Credit to the club for fixing our dearth of forwards and to Tom for turning his career and our clubs fortunes around.

What they're saying down at Punt Road
Not having a pot shot at you Rusty but its strange that this may actually happen. So many argued that Hibberd should not be called up. That he was too slow. Played like he had been playing all year.....was great from the get go compared to all the other inclusions. Deserves some praise. You obviously rate him too putting him on dusty.

Tmac and Wied will both play in the Tigers game.

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Geeps can they maybe try and be more careful at training. Where was Burgo reporting from...he looked like he was off to an antartic base camp.

What they're saying down at Punt Road
Interesting they are boasting about their forward line. Sure its full of firepower but if Wied comes in after seven goals, tmac kerps firing and our smalls do well....ours aint too shabby.

What they're saying down at Punt Road
I reckon if we win a few flags we would start to get cocky. And like the Tigers its been a long time bw them. I say enjoy it.
