Its an interesting perspectivr. Its hard to argue against changing such a great winning team. Many have agreed by liking your post If I may play devils advocate. When will they get their chance? When Tmac or Lj are injured? If so then we are saying in effect that they are just fillers. Will be hard to justify kerping them both in such a situation. Wied may well be looking for another club and who could blame him. But BBB has proven himself 3 years in a row as the best ff in the comp. How can we not keep and play him? I would suggest we play 3 talls( sorry melk) with the same rotation of Lj and Max in the ruck. -
Hard to say. So many. Tomlinson ANB Spargo Kozzie Tmac. Salem Lever.

Its interesting that our defensive structiure is so effective without Jetta starring. Levers interception of the ball in the air or on ground has been suberb. His decision making is always very fast and very astute. May and Tomlinson simply out muscle their opponents. Hibberd back in has been a huge gain as is Salem getting back to providing great drive and always finding his targets. The excitement factor is watching Hunt turn on the after burners and arrogantly bouncing the ball as he does it.

Still feeling it!

He looks bigger this year. I dont think his size stats are accurate. Looks almost as big as May. He has most certainly improved.

Might be the right thing to do if he dies have some issues but geeps, I would miss watching him instinctively emmerge from a nest of players into clear space. -
Speaking of ducks, I need to stock up on my pate for this weekends game.

Thanks Chf Am loving your game previews. As a Usa muscle car enthusiast this one was extra special. Hopefully we will add some extra horses up fwd with Bbb against his old club. Great to read another supporter is enjoying footy as much as me. Keep them coming. Ps I thought Frittas hair was tested and streamlined in a wind tunnel somwhere.

Not sure who comes out. I was dissappointed by the SWs exclusion in the laat game but I now accept that I just dont know. The club keeps making the right call. I do want to see Bbb come in because he is a big star. Especially agsinst his old club. The way Jackson and Tmac have played it wont be them , they are the last out. I get the feeling Luke Jackson is going to be a big part of our future success for a very long time. But Bbb in please Mfc. -
Thanks for this. Altough it was a close call, I thought Salem was better than Trac . He had 21 possies by half time. So many deadly as well. But back to Trac, he certainly has moved to a level we were all hoping for. Probably more so. Oliver, reliable and committed as ever. And Jake Lever continues to display all the reasons we recruited him for. His quick decision making to punch/ mark, leave his player and hitting the right target is going from strength to strength. Tmac has stepped right back into his form of first moving up forward. A great effort. And Max.....well hes Max?

The ANB Appreciation Thread

On a wet night in a tight game, deservedly praised. Love the chest pounding. Was a tough shot but Nibbler showed his maturity at a very important stage of the game and later on helped seal it with his never ending running to get to the competition and get that free in front of goal. He played an excellent game. As others have noted, the pressure that both he and Spargo have bought has been a big factor in our wins that often goes unrecognised. For respective sizes, they punch above their weight and their tackles are seldom broken. -
Probably a tigers supporter I reckon.

How good were Tomlinson and May to run down the ground after the kozzie incident in the look last. They both starting remonstrating with Lynch who tried to get involved. Nice to have some big players that others dont want to mess with.

Suffer in his jocks.. How mature are you? Just kidding, I love that expression? Thanks fir reminding me of it so I can use it on my 15 year old son who will have no idea what to say back. -
Just watched the replay for a second tine.? I 'm sorry as much as I love Spargo's work, in the interests of fairness we need to give some love to the other like player in Nibbler. Last year he was much maligned and many wondered if he was in our best 22 ( Thanks Richie benaud) but after Tmac, he has been our most improved player. Used to be one of the worst offenders in missing set shots on goal but kicked a ripper from the boundary. He doesnt get much recognition but his work rate in running and tackling is probably even better than Sparticus and the way he celebrates the success of others shows his passion. Also love the way he sticks up for others. Got a bit of agro in him in a good way. His tackles are rarely shaken too. If he continues to keep getting better, it will be very, very interesting. He is probably one of our fittest players which is a big call. Thanks Alex.N. B.

Loves a bit of banter. Does it well too.

Have only ever been to the snow and and had a ski maybe a dozen times many years ago. Its too expensive and my knees aint up to it. But heaven forbid that people do. How dare they enjoy our beautiful mountains, get some exercise and help maintain an important tourism industry. Next the media will lampoon the cheese eaters in the community. Oh wait..

How old is Kozzie? How many games has he played? How many on a BIG stage? To have a crack at the bloke for such a small incident speaks volumes about them and not Kozzie. The phrase "get a life" aptly fits for these so called commentators like never before.
-
Is it just me or can the next game not come around fast enough? Almost everything in between seems less interesting.

The law of ex players in Bbb smashing their old clubs must come and work in our favor just once. I hope he is selected and I hope he tops the goal kicking tally in just one game. I cant get my head around seven zero and maybe Footscray losing. I think Ill need to have a lie down somewhere if we keep winning. Im just not used to enjoying the footy so much. I think my hair is starting to grow back. -
Thats what history suggests, true. I probably should not have used that term. Statiscally, the odds increase to win a third one. Like tossing three tails in a row. Just like the fact nobody has one four in a row. Anyway, I guess Tigers fans have got used to winning. I was certainly happy for them as we Dees fans know their pain. I dont expect tgem to be happy to lose but if there is a team one can accept being beaten by.....it has to be ours. Ive gone off the tigers this year because I think they are the ones who are being arrogant. (And a tad dirty).

They have been a side that have pushed the boundaries of physicality if you like. Great to see it didnt put us off our game. I think Lynch was a liittle subdued by the fact that May and Tomlinson were not far away. Nankervis tried to push our gentlemen Max about but Max was one of the BOG. The throat punch on Oliver pretty much sums them up. I loved Kozzie pointing to the scoreboard because he was right. Its the best response to poor playing and especially undue rough stuff.... "Look mate , your losing."
