Second...four frees to wc ...one to us including a howler against rivers for pushing out darling in front of goal....rivers pinkie may have touched him. And a strange insufficient intent. Second half he wasn't so bad (maybe looked at his stats at halftime)with only a couple more frees to wc but they were pretty much accurate. His first half was poor....missing a couple of in the backs and htm to us and not paying marks.

I think their team has become more that way. They always seemed much more physically intimidating. The prelim seemed to highlight that. Maybe it us who have hardened up. Great that we have beaten them over there. Sorry not the correct forum but Im just musing out loud if a fit Tomlinson pushes Petty out next year. I think Petty has been great and is growing in each game. From what I can tell he looks like he has all the makings of a good forward so that's always handy.

Greta post BoBo. You can see the pain in the faces of players that have spoken about this issue. It is obviously incredibly hurtful and disrespectful to them. Some of them look gutted. The only positive is I do believe as bad as it has been at times, things are improving a little bit. Maybe I am wrong and just live in a different world. Sad to say back in the 70s and 80s going to the footy as a teenager and then a young adult I heard some bad stuff on too many occasions. But while I don't get to as many games anymore I don't hear any negative comments at all. Obviously its still happening, but I'm buoyed by the fact that its shouted down in this day and age and rightfully so. Lets hope we can continue to educate people on the pain this causes but I guess there will never be a cure for total irrationality.

I was thinking why eagles fans and port and crows fans are so vocal. Im guessing that as that both SA and WA only have a couple of teams in the comp each, it is more of a them against us feeling. its much more parochial than Melb and probably more like how it used to be a long time ago with suburb v suburb.,
