How incredible that a team that have absolutely smashed the comp all year are being absolutely smashed by a team that looked like they would not even make the 8 for most of it. A team that has traveled miles and played an extra final has three times the energy of the other. Lions were playing good footy but it seems more that Swans just stopped moving . They turned into complete plodders for a whole quarter. Lions pressure was strong but it wasn't off the charts. Hard to work out what happened. Lions playing confident footy with players backing themselves and prepared to take risks. But Sydney just looked lazy all of a sudden too. Oh well......if you think it can't get worse following Sydney.....it's time for Katy Perry.

Interesting point. Swans played Mcg about five months ago. Lions twice the last five weeks. Alarm bells sounding. That weak tackle sums it up. Swans intensity non existent.

Lions playing well but this is not the Swans at their best. They are a little flat and it's not Sydney that have dominated all year. They need to be careful they don't drop five goals down by the middle.

Who would have thought cooking a couple of simple meals would create so much acrimony and bullying between people? More rubbish from the free to air nuffies. And they complain about the competition from streaming services. Try and create some different content once a decade perhaps.

As for your first paragraph in your post, it doesn't really connect to my comment at all. So there's that Anyway I hope you enjoy her act. And it is an act. Heaps of technology assistance with automated vocal software and pitch control. Lots of lights and pyrotechnics to disguise the fact it's lacking in substance. But that's not new in the pop world. There was that camera shot to some dogs supporters in the crowd that summed it all up. One thing to break a huge record of no cups but the way we did it was one for the ages. Greatest win in my life and it doesn't matter it wasn't at the Mcg except we couldn't go.

Funny that at only 17 points down despite more shots at goal, in typical mfcss fashion I thought it was all over. I guess it made it the more sweeter. Never forget the bang bang bang.

Funny how little footy was replayed on tv in the old days. Am I right in remembering there a few highlights and then the match of the round. Maybe we were busy.

As much as I would enjoy seeing the Lions prevail, I think they may run out of puff in the Gf. Sure they will get an extra burst of adrenaline by sheer virtue they are playing for a cup but ultimately I feel the Swans will have fresher legs. It seems to me the lions have been playing out of their skins in several close and exhausting finals. They have traveled more too. Most likely all of this will have taken a toll in terms of energy and injuries and will ultimately be the difference.
