I still fail to see how we have a good team. We lost three A grade strikers, and replaced them with rubbish. Losing in the process a few average-good midfielders, who whilst were not world class, always seemed to know how to scrap through games and understood the EPL gameplay. I can't really see it changing before January, interestingly we're two wins away from being clear of the drop zone and it would all be forgotten. But again, i can't see it happening. Think we have Arsenal next, woohoo. Not sure abotu Ramos, the squad isn't really his fault, though i miss the days of Jol when our team produced so many good English kids, and about 3-4 England Internationals

Ironic a Melbourne supporter laughing at someone else for being last, but yes, I go for Spurs. Anyone see their 95th minute penalty attempt? Off one upright, rolled across the goalline hit the other upright, then bounced out, another Stoke guy had a shot at goal, drilled it into the crossbar

And if you thought Queensland's first inning score of 4-13 was troublesome, try their current score in the second inning of 6-16!! New Zealand 7-118 What's worse than losing to the Bangladeshi Firsts? Losing to the Bangladeshi Seconds! What's worse than losing to the Bangladeshi Seconds? Losing to them twice!

Unfortunately not. I thought at the start of the day we'd be looking at 400. That should now be considered a good score from now on for the Australian team IMO. No middle order, which will become more apparent as Hayden dwindles and there's no Gilly to save the side. Biggest problem is that i think we'll battle to take 20 wickets. India should build a massive score, but as they say, never judge a pitch (match) until two teams have batted

Haha in my defence i did mention it in the West Ham thread, so pfft to you sir! It really is just mind-boggling the things that Spurs do. How can you move on Defoe, Keane and Berbatov in an 8 month stint, and not sign anyone in their place? At least Hull are top 3! ...... Always have to laugh at Arsenal though

Isn't there some stupid stat for penalties at Old Trafford over the last few years? 30 to 5 or something outrageous? That gets extended to include other "big four" clubs

Ronaldo should be retrospectively red carded for that What's going on with Spurs? Can't watch tonight's game, but 66% possession and 13 strikes to 8, yet 2-0 down. Guess that's what happens when you remove two top class strikers and don't replace them. Mind you, they're less potent than our current "strike-force" at the moment!

Merseyside Derby tonight, should be massive! Liverpool need to start kicking into top gear very soon, because Arsenal are looking the goods. Even their 12 years olds beat sides 6-0

I don't really see how we were pumping ourselves up. Isn't it funny how the same media which says we should be top 4 this year, are the first to turn and say you're rubbish after a bad start. It seemed illogical to me that we would improve after last year, with such an odd transfer window and the loss of Keane and Berbatov and a host of average, yet pretty consistently played midfielders (and Paul Robinson). Doubt that we'll go down, after all most big clubs can just spend big (cheat) in the January transfer window and win a few late games. *Cough* West Ham *Cough*

Liverpool Man U tonight. Massive match. The Reds have a chance to stake their intentions on the top rated side. Gerrard and Torres passed as fit. The Reds haven't beaten the Red Devils at Anfield since 2001, and if they have any hope of reaching their 19th title, you'd think they would have to win tonight

Tough one. He was screwed over i felt by CA last Summer, but he also bullshited his way out of the Pakistan tour "travel fears" rah rah but was happy as Larry to go to India. I feel he'll do what's best for Andrew Symonds. If he can find another niche I don't think we'll see him in the Baggy Green again. But i don't think he'll get there yet, and I think he'll ease his way back in, maybe after the Indian tour.
