When you see hot talent that you know is AFL material, what is the best way to get recruitment team at melbourne to have a look??? If you think Davey and Austin are good then I have a player who is only 16 and 6 months old that would leave them for dead. I am in the territory in a place called Maningrida out in remote Arnhem Land. We have the second largest football competition in the NT. We have an excellent comp with 8 teams playing a high quality game with fair rules and excellent umpiring. Many people who have see football in the territory thinks our A team would match it with the best of the Tiwi Islanders. The player I am talking about made the 16 and under NT squad at 14. Played in Sydney and was rated in the top 3 players. He is currently on track to be sent to Rostrevor Collage in Adelaide to play in their State comp and then to port power. It is not to late to snag him. I am telling you he is brilliant and many years above his age. Born natural and he is the pick of the bunch. Does Melbourne have any scholarships with schools that might be interested? No one will be disappointed, investment plus. I just want him at Melbourne.

Out were I am in the NT we have the largest football competition in the NT outside Darwin with 8 teams competiting. There is not a person in town that doesn't own a football jumper of one of the afl teams or a hat. I wrote to two clubs asking if they would like to support a junior football competition that has since started up by donating what ever they could such as old boots, footballs, jumpers, whistles, shorts or what ever they could as the kids have nothing. The two clubs were Western Bulldogs and Melbourne. From the Western Bulldogs a week later we received hats, key rings and stickers all of which the kids wear and keep. Also a letter apologising for not being able to send anything else but wished us all the best. Absolutley fantastic. From Melbourne we heard nothing. Yep, they may have been to busy and had nothing available and that is absolutely fine but a reply would have been good. I hope the Dees have a win this weekend. It has been quality opposition we have play so far so this is the big one for us. On Demonology they have been thinking about whether Neitz is calling it a day. Has anyone found out what is going on?

Fantastic post Fork, Took the words right out of my mouth brother. Alright we know we have to rebuild. I don't know much about when players contracts are up or when they are due for retirement. Is the club able to delist or trade players that are not performing without happening to pay them out? When are the next draft pics up, is there a mid season pic? Do you think there is any chance of trading some of our older players? Basically I know there are a lot of fans out there that know this stuff. I am hoping to see if we are able to put together an agreed sequence over the short and long term of how we are going to rebuild. Hard task but great if we can share, sort and construct a inventory of ideas.
