Exactly,money was the only reason for his move not success.Basically the average Aussie wage is around 100k & if we were all offered 150k to change jobs we would nearly all do it.

I wouldn't care 1 iota.The money on offer would make me happy enough to never even win a single game again in my lifetime.Thing is these days it really is just a job & that many playets couldnt care if they win or lose.Just think we go to work for 100k a year & do you really care if your company wins awards etc?

Purely money,nothing less or nothing more.Players dont go to average clubs,will terrible coaches for any other reason .He could win a flag at WC & be at a better run club so saying its go home factor & then ruling out the best club is crap.It says ill be a stand out in a team that will never play Finals in my lifetime,look like the big man & make bucket loads of easy cash,with no extra games or training come September

Yep been saying it for the last 5 or so years. People dont take honesty very well on these 1 sided forums,but to me he's necer been any better that a straight out B-Grader (not even a B+,just a B).He has been loyal to the Dees through poor times but i see that more a case of no other club realy wanting him,over him just sticking solid with us.We do have a conundrum coming up because even now i see him as a fringe player but next year i think he drops back further & how do we handle dropping him? Hes never been quick, can't take an overhead mark,isnt a great kick,gets caught holding the ball every game because his ability to evade is poor.Not saying he us garbage but there is a reason most other supporters dont rate him & only see him as a solid toiler

Does the Eagles winning the Flag make it more or less likely that Gaff becomes available? I missed a GF once through injury & have to say it made it easy to walk away the year after due to feeling no emotion to the Premiership....in fact it felt worse than losing 1.Who thinks now that he is more of a chance of jumping ship & who thinks it will push him into staying on at WCE?

Nah no chance. Freo will not even play Finals for the next 5 years let alone Win the comp.Id be very confident in saying he will never grace the MCG for the decider

Yeah maybe i was being a bit harsh but in all honesty we will never get a better offer than 2 x 1st rounders.I think we need to cash in & get the lower pick not the option where they may deal with Port & drop our picks down

To be honest i may be in the minority but ive never liked his head dropping & sulking when he isnt spoon fed the ball.He has some good attributes obviously but very rarely takes a pack mark,isnt really a good set shot kick inside 30m & to me plays for frees too often.Cash in now while we can as he clearly doesn't want to buy into the Melbourne dream. This may also be blunt but for christs sake everyones dad dies & its a part a life.I just dont get how a supposed grown man eraning 7-800k a year can't survive without mummy. I mean everywhere in Australia is only a maximum of a few hours away from home on these things called planes & you can jump on one at any hour of the day.People all over the world live in different countries & survive & peoples manage to live in different states of Australia too without any drama. When he goes ill never remember him as a Demons player & will hope he never has any success
