  1. That absolute clown 15 has influenced this game. The soft “I thought it was a mark” to Wingard, the mind numbing free kick and 50 against Melky. Then the cautious response to the next “advantage” free to Port. I loathe that bald streak of you know what! Dare I say up there with Razor. It is all about him!

  2. Just watched the replay again - as much as I normally loathe the Channel 7 coverage, I thought Bwooce and BT toned down the matey banter a bit. (No “Lingy” No “Richo” to share inside blokes gags). Message there Channel 7. Daisy is a gun and BT’s NT travelogue stuff showed a more sensitive side to him. What I simply cannot abide is Bwooces fawning pathetic love for “Duck”. I believe “Duck” is not really a very nice person, and yet we hear the dribble coming out of Bwooces mouth at every opportunity. I thought he may have been better than that.

  3. Started going to the footy in 65, 66. Remember 64 but too young to go. This is simply the best side I have ever seen. 87 was a brilliant emotional ride and The Reverand’s   every second year teams were giid fun and ripping personalities - but this team goes way beyond that! Got to make it count now.

  4. I am still shattered. Have stayed away from the water cooler and mainstream media all day. At about the15 to 20 minute mark of the first quarter I said to my brother that despite our total dominance we had not converted enough on the scoreboard. 4.4 to 1.0 I think it was. Should have been at least 6 or 7 or even 8 given our total control. Fatal not to convert when you can. We all saw what happened.

  5. Interesting ideas here. I have been a red seat attender for donkeys years and turned that into a home game reserved membership when the new northern stand was built. Always sit with the same Melbourne people in M51. There is always plenty of space to spread out (even on Q’s Birthday) and we always look down our noses at “opposition”supporters who have unfortunately been sold single game day tickets into “our space”. Now, for the first time in all those donkey’s years, I prepare for the ANZAC Eve game, relaxed in the knowledge that me and my family have the luxury of a walk up start and reserved seat. Worth every penny! If the crowd is to be 80-90K as some are suggesting it will be interesting to see how the spare non membership seats in our area are allocated. Nice problem to have. Go Dees.
