Little confused. He originally signed for 2 years IIRC, he's been good this year but at +30, I don't know if we needed to extend his contract 18 months before it ends. People won't be knocking the door down for him..

I think the bigger issue is Saty's lack of posts pretty much the second Neeld was sacked. Remember how he didn't turn up for 6 months after Neeld got sacked?

Saty is as ignorant as they come. I still remember last year he gave David Schwartz a pasting on here because he "pot shot Mark Neeld" on Open Mike when it was hardly ever a pot shot at all. And then going on to say beating his gambling addiction and using it to help other was nothing special and he should be concentrating on more important things like helping the club out.

Saty is all about him and himself only.

His problem is that he's not a great runner. Has footy skills, toughness etc, but if you can't run in the modern game then you're stuffed. He needs to get his running up to AFL standard.

Neville Jetta and Cam Pedersen aren't gut runners.

Tappys best footy was back in 2011 when he was playing as a Half Back Flanker doing the kickouts, playing like a seasoned veteran back into packs and putting his body on the line. I use to always say he was going to be our next Shannon Hurn.

That debut game against Sydney was one of the best 1st gamer from a player I had seen ever from a MFC playing point of view.

When Neeld came on board Tappy went forward and has stayed there ever since. To say his career I reckon throw him back for the rest of the year and let him go at it again.

I would much rather Tappy down there then Terlich and Grimes.

they've had some injury issues in their first year, which isn't uncommon.

on a few occasions chomps harmed had 30 disposals or so, and max is an attractive ruck prospect. He played in the nab cup and didn't look out of his depth.

Have you seen Zac Jones play. As good as any top 10 pick from last year. Also getting a game in a team that has won 11 straight and is equal premiership favorite.

Oh please give me a break.. being as good as any top 10?.. Billings, Bontempelli, Aish, Mcdonald, Koladashnji, Kelly and Salem will all have a good argue point.

He has played 3 games with one being a sub and the other getting concussed at the start of last week.

I was all for Allison's reports at the start of the year. The method of those reports was to say a positive of the game, and finalise each player with something they need to work on.

Recently it's turned into public humiliation. The feedback the players are receiving on that, should be a one on one conversation and a general statement given to the public.

Speaking to a Casey player, two weeks ago they did no in-house review of the weekend game. The only feedback they received was a paragraph on the MFC website.

It is poor human management and it's completely unsurprising that no players are pushing for selection, they've got no guidance from above. Their senior coach hasn't attended a game, and the development coaches can't put together a post match synopsis for them.

I love alot of the things this club is doing, but this is Neeldesque ignorance of the lesser players. It's a slippery slope to a discontent squad and I hope Paul has a closer handle of it than weeks gone by.

Someone mentioned the other day they saw Roosey at a Casey Game.

Dont know why all the love for Gary Rohan? have not seen him once show he will be a good ordinary player.

I know he has been injured and has good speed but I wouuld rather Sam Blease then him. Atleast we have seen the potential, eg 5 goals against the saints.

Mate if all you expect from players is they do their best and give them a pat on the back maybe you should go and watch the ammo's - this is professional sport with different standards and expectations and players are rewarded for their efforts so its not as if we're haranguing a bunch of guys just playing for the love of the game. I don't agree with hanging over the fence lambasting players but I think some venting on a footy forum that most players will never see shouldn't be an issue.

Oh but remember he tells the players at training that theres a website called demonland and all we do is critize the players.
