  1. Welcome to the mighty Dee's "Chugga"!
  2. Wrapped for Trenners. I thought he was done, but its fantastic to see him get another chance. Its about time he got some luck on his side.
  3. Any club would give up pick 4 for Lever. He is ready to go. No need for development. Slots in and we have 3 All Australian Squad defenders at our disposal. This trade will pay off in spades soon enough.
  4. How is he not elite? Best intercept player in the game - something we do NOT have down back. Made All Australian 40 man squad. Future leader. Clean user of the ball.
  5. This. History hasnt been kind for us as a whole in the last decade. Poor choices, complete busts and injuries. Sure there have been a few diamonds in teh rough, but taking Lever is rock solid choice. We dont have to put years of development into him. He's ready to go and will only get better.
  6. Looks like Tmac is gonna be up forward next year and thats not a bad thing.
  7. Damn, was hoping we would of got something back for 2 first rounders other than steak knives. Its done now. Lever will be rock solid.
  8. Im not that witty.
  9. He is already the best intercept mark in the game. Pretty close to the best intercept spolier as well. Clean disposal. Future Leader. Id say he is more than on his way.
  10. This was talked about on SEN yesterday. They said Level is on par if not ahead of Rance when they were at the same age. Absolutely has the potential to be a 10 year, A grade defender for us.
  11. If Tex ever even contemplates leaving Adelaide at some point, I hope he is absolutely hounded. What a grade A sook. Terrible leadership qualities.
  12. Appauling to be honest. He has every right to be there.
  13. And by Victorian he means a Melbourne club. And by a Melbourne club, he means us.
  14. This. He had incredible agility. Plus he was Robbie Flower.
  15. So he's played a handful of games and wants to go home, yet his value has increased. Makes perfect sense to me! Good luck with that Freo!

I agree with you in some respects. That being said: These guys are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars at the end of the day to kick a footy. Thats a HELL of a lot more money than the vast majority of us make slaving 9-5, 5 days a week. Many of these guys are living their dream and can set themselves up for the rest of their lives if they have the appititude. Some of them are under performing and should be under scruitiny. Again, most of us would have some sort of perfromance reviews at work. Guess what happens when we dont do our jobs? We are disciplined in one way or another or worst case, get canned. In that sense, its no different. In other ways, its totally different. They are in the public space and thats never going to change. In fact its probably going to get more and more invasive with Victoria's appetite for footy in the digital age.

Taberner? Thats setting the bar high.
  18. I know nothing about them, but the track record of this account is?
  19. If plugging that gaping hole in the midfield with an outside gun means we miss out on him, then so be it. Otherwise, absolutely.

Liability is being kind. His kick ins from points especially. Its a flip of the coin whether its coming right back - and most of the time its in the form of the oppostion kicking a goal.

Whoever the tackling coach is. Either they dont know their craft or the players dont listen. We have been horrific all year.
  22. That miss from 30 in front in the 3rd was simply inexcusable and there were plenty of supporters today that gave him an absolute serve for it.
  23. Great start to the season. I hope Goody is safe.
  24. But why 4 years and why for such a decent pick? Was there any legitimate interest in him outside us?
  25. The pick is a roll of a the dice, it always is. Thats not my concern. If it is indeed a 4 years contract - then that is an issue. That is a massive risk for a guy that hasnt been a solid contribute to a pretty average outfit for the last 2 years. This isnt even taking into account the whole wada fiasco. Could go either way, but at this stage, im not impressed at all.
