POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Yeah we would have glued 6 mahogany cheese boards together in a row to write a sign like that

Great team win tonight, fantastic to see some of the key elements of what made us so successful last year return in triumphant fashion!

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Surely with JVRs competitiveness both in the air and on the deck he is a logical replacement for Weid next week.

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
The Weid has had as many disposals as our medi sub, can somebody who’s there fill us in on what’s going on? Is he in good positions and the balls just not going to him or is he just lost?

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
looks like @binman 's prediction of JVR making a late appearance this season is gaining momentum with JVR emergency!

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Yeah I was talking to a Collingwood supporting acquaintance who said we should throw everything at Jacko and let Brayshaw go. My reply was, yeah nah, if I have to choose, I choose Bryashaw thanks and take the draft picks for Jacko. I then said, interesting Pies are trying to offload a ruckman they threw everything at. And then walked away.

Anyone know how to listen to this after the event? I missed it live and would love to hear it

In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
From a pure sports science point of view it would makes sense that our training loads would be higher this year than last for two reasons: - the same stimulus applied twice doesn’t have the same effect the second time around as the body will be starting from a higher base than when exposed the first time. As such the body is more efficient in coping with the stress and doesn’t adapt to the same degree. At the same time it can cope with more work because of said efficiency so… - applying a higher load is possible which would not have been achievable the first time round. It’s called progressive overload and used across all sports in some way shape or form so it would makes sense they have done more this year than last

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Yep and Grundy is signed until 2027

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
I don’t think the selections really matter, will come down to whether we take our chances or not and whether the will to win is as strong as we saw in 2021, other than that it’s just shuffling the deck really.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Don’t hate the idea if we loose Jackson, as long as the $ are reasonable. I’m hearing English to WCE, Grundy to dogs but I reckon your mail would be stronger.

GAMEDAY : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Unhappy that weve had 3 frees in a half! Outrageous!

Heat and less recovery from last week hurting us atm?
-
GAMEDAY : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Why do we have half the time to dispose of it when caught with the ball than them? 🤔

GAMEDAY : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs

GAMEDAY : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Was always going to happen, dogs don’t loose too many quarters on the free kicks for stats
