  2. Guess it will depend on her motivation. She seems pretty happy in our environment, but maybe there are other incentives. Must sign Campbell and Gall long term. They are the future IMO.
  3. "Compressed Fixture" shows how serious the AFL are. Imagine the outrage if they fixtured the men's season that way.
  4. Sure makes it interesting. Go Blues.
  5. Happens all too often George. She plays for the ball to get to her out the back. Rather see Gall as the deepest forward, because she attacks the ball in the air. Zanker was more effective at half forward. Also like to see Bannon honour her teammates running into goal. Could have made a difference tonight.
  6. Interesting Andrew Mackie: ‘We contacted Pert and Clayton’s manager regularly about Clayton for over two years, escalating in the past two months. We had Clayton have a phone call with our senior administrators and go out to a farm to be pitched by our players. Sounds more like Geelong contacting Pert than Pert shopping him around. The only report I saw re contact with Tom Stewart was at Stanleys farm.

  8. IF.... Damien Barrett was respect by his colleagues... THEN Then he wouldn't have that godawful but appropriate nickname.
  9. Love the way Gall and Campbell compete at the drop of ball. Definitely Harrisesque. Must keep playing them regardless of who comes back.

  11. When I consider the AFL football media, I find myself wondering what they actually produce. I include all the so called journalists and commentators in this. Most have absolutely no personality, those that do are just plain irritating. What they are is leeches, presently trying to suck the life out a club that they see as an easy mark. Why? They know deep down that they have to justify their position. If they all quit and went to work at something useful to society, no one would even notice.
  12. Too late. Tom Morris is all over it. Headline news tomorrow.
  13. Yeah, we would.
  14. Good win under real pressure 6 Chaplin - Four quarter effort & saved the game in the last 5 Hore - Lead from the front 4 Hanks - All class again 3 Heath - Tough as nails as usual 2 Fitzsimon - Flies under the radar a bit 1 Watt - Really stepped up tonight
  15. Out of interest, who could we have got?
