Gerard Whately is a Moron
Whateley doesn't come across as a cocaine snorting alcoholic hedonist like others in the football media so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

- GAME DAY
I've got a date with an ex-nun this afternoon so I couldn't care less about this game.- Casey Demons v Geelong VFL
I was there watching the game last night thinking the same thing that there is no structure, it was just like watching a Melbourne game. I ended up leaving at half time because I knew the game was over.- Following Melbourne is like being addicted to a really bad drug - discusss
Melbourne is the brown acid.- Welcome Johnnie Walker (we all need you!)
My apologies for the derail of this thread, sorry for stirring up everyone's nauseous memories.- Where to play TMac?
The best defence is to attack so FF.- Welcome Johnnie Walker (we all need you!)
Johnnie Walker reminds me of vomiting as a teenager.- Training 19/4
I saw the first hour of training, TMac was there running laps then was doing goal kicking practice afterwards.- Post Match Discussion - Round 4

- Current Television
I rarely watch TV besides the footy but have recently been visiting( bothering) some friends who have Stan to watch a show called Preacher. It's based on a 90s comic book which I was a fan of back in the day. Don't expect superheros though.- Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
I went to a few Casey games this year and Fritsch was the highlight of the season for me, I'd hate for anyone else to pick him up. I would also like to give The Coldstream Football Club a shout out for turning up every game to watch their boy Fritsch play.- Umpiring of MFC games very questionable
If it's true that there is an umpiring bias then who pulls the strings? Gill, the umpires themselves or other factions within the AFL ? And for what reasons? Is there communications before and during the games to the umpires to direct the outcome? I would love to see a conspiracy documentary about it. P.S. Razor has no soul.- The healthy mental health thread
The best advice I can give people suffering from mental health issues is to keep your mind in the present moment. Most worry is about things that happened in the past that can't be changed or in the future that hasn't even happened yet. Instead of listening to the internal voice in the head, be aware of all your senses and you will realise that your mind( that causes unpleasant feelings) is only a small part of your reality. The key to this is mindfulness, to catch your mind wandering and be present with your conscious mind instead of the sub-conscious running the show. When you are conscious, you can reprogram the damaging effects of the sub-conscious with positive programming. I have a more extreme way than most with dealing with life's suffering: that has been a strong dedication to meditation, sometimes practicing over 10 hours per day living in monasteries but I realise this life is certainly not for most people and I don't want to preach religion on here but I would like to list some secular books that I believe can help people with mental health issues, these are: The power of now- Eckhart Tolle Take off your glasses and see- Jacob Liberman (a book about eyesight but equally insightful about improving your life) The Open Focus Brain- Les Femhi. I am more than happy to answer any questions if anyone wants to PM me. One last thing, keep your head up(literally), this will make you feel better. We are the only species on Earth that has an upright spine but we choose to slouch. Just look at how Melbourne players perform when they have their heads down. Stay strong and be happy.- The No T$ No B$ Thread
- THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
I hope some young people see Hird's situation and realise that immorality leads to suffering. In that way, at least one positive would come out of it. Although some people still show resentment towards James Hird, I am pleased with some Demonlanders sympathy towards him and his family. It shows that goodness can prevail. Having said that, I can't wait for us to beat the Bombers this year.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

- When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
Going back a bit but I remember us beating the Hawks at Princes Park on a rainy day in 1989.It was the last time I ever went there as I thought the place was a sh*thole.- The No T$ No B$ Thread
