  1. Rory Lobb obviously not forgotten
  2. Hard one for the Dogs coming off a tough game against Port. I can see the Swans pulling off an upset.
  3. Fremantle also travelled to Adelaide twice 2 weeks (also off a 6 day break). We should not be using this an excuse for losing to Essendon.
  4. It was reported SA made 6 times that in revenue to what was paid to the AFL which for state like mine is actually a pretty good outcome. I liked the concept but it does need some tweeking, ie: the Port game should have been swapped with the Richmond v Sydney game. But when the current fixture has some many anomalies I fail to see what the problem is?
  5. Most disappointing effort i have seen from the Dees at AO, certainly did not attack the game with the same hunger as Essendon. But I expect this group to bounce back next week, it's a long season and will continue have our share of ups and downs.
  6. Must be the commonality I found with Port Adelaide supporters here, that's all. They were vocal and created a good atmosphere.
  7. Average, they have too many bottom end players. I would be surprised if they win more than 10 games. Their supporters have a high bogan element as well.
  8. Went to the game at Norwood, never seen so many missed tackles by a team in my life. The Suns defence was like a knife through butter. FMD.
  9. Carltons away jumper is pretty average too
  10. Never thought I would say Keys is on fire tonight, but he is.
  11. I live in the Adelaide Hills and the weather has been good for the most part, Mt Barker Oval looks a treat and the locals are getting behind it. I understand the pessimism with this Round but in a weird way I think it has brought football people here closer together (similar to stage of origin) for at least this weekend.
  12. For anyone coming over the club will be holding a training session at Prospect Oval (My local team) on Friday at 2.30pm: Melbourne Football Club training at Prospect Oval | NAFC The North Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to announce that the Melbourne Football Club will be training at Prospect Oval, Friday 14th April in preparation for AFL Gather Round. Following their training session, NAFC CEO, Craig Burton will interview Melbourne Senior Coach, Simon Goodwin and Head of Development, Mark Williams at approximately 3:30pm in the Pavilion at Prospect. All NAFC Members and supporters are invited to come along to Prospect Oval. Meals will be available in the Pavilion from 5:30pm. Our Men’s League and Reserves team will train on Prospect Oval, after Melbourne have completed their session at approximately 5:30pm.
  13. Best stat is football - 19 years since Essendon last won a final.
  14. Oh Frosty if only you could kick you would have been something
  15. Hawks looks half decent when attacking in numbers
  16. Good solid all round performance, nice to see others given more midfield time. Bring on the Scum next week.
  17. At least TMac is on today
  18. Need to pull our fingers out here, too many players just coasting atm.
  19. Heartstopper of a finish
  20. Big goal by On the Buses.
  21. Feel sorry for Touk Miller being stuck at GC, he would be lorded at any other club.
  22. Now Port hit the front, what gives!
  23. GC such an enigma or a football team and sadly club.
  24. Hard to see Hinkley surviving beyond the bye if this continues.
  25. McCartin just copped a big hit (self inflicted), with his history hope he is ok
