I havenāt even received my Finals brochure from the club yet. get your act together guys!

NON MFC: Round 17
Another free kick, another goal to the pies but the ones they arenāt paying are unbelievable. Pendlebury just dropped it in a tackle. FMD
-
NON MFC: Round 17
to argue against myself - there will be a bye and Port will want to take good form into finals
-
NON MFC: Round 17
what about the blatent HTB not paid?!? even the commentators couldn't believe it Free kicks 7-3. I'm sure it will continue to expand in collingwoods favour until the last quarter to even it up
-
NON MFC: Round 17
Suns should give it a shake at least in the first half Let's see if there are any colli-wobbles My MFCSS has settled in - if Suns win I wont get excited as Port have nothing to play for next week so Pies should win

THE RUN HOME 2020
After the swans and Freo games, I was so gutted, a lot of my emotional interest in the season ended. if we can beat the bombers and end up on 9 Wins 8 losses, that is an OK result considering the 5-17 season we just had. It is critical we continue to make changes and improve though if we happen to scrape into finals and get smashed by the eagles, it doesnt change much. it would then be a 9-9 season having said that, I'll be cheering the boys on regardless

THE RUN HOME 2020
so do we know what week the finals will be on? not assuming we get in, I just wasn't sure if it was confirmed if there was a bye or not?

THE RUN HOME 2020
Gotcha. also they are copping it in the media and will have their (angry, fired up) skipper will be back. they should have a very strong team in
-
THE RUN HOME 2020
but if the dogs win then they need to make up almost 10% of percentage on Giants.
-
THE RUN HOME 2020
I have been relying on the Giants to beat saints as our best option but what is the Giants realistic chance of making it? they can't make up % on us or Saints so they completely rely on the Dogs losing. I reckon the saints will have more motivation
-
THE RUN HOME 2020
on the other hand, if GWS win by 4 points, we need 46 points to beat the saints % easy as that really! ?
-
THE RUN HOME 2020
i did the ladder predictor, saints winning by 4 points and us winning by 40 pts. see below. yeah, I know, I threw up in my mouth also. in this likely scenario, if we had beaten the swans, the Pies would miss out W L D 1. Port Adelaide 14 3 0 136.0% 2. Brisbane Lions 14 3 0 126.4% 3. Richmond 12 4 1 128.2% 4. Geelong 12 5 0 139.5% 5. West Coast 12 5 0 118.6% 6. St Kilda 10 7 0 110.8% 7. Western Bulldogs 10 7 0 104.1% 8. Collingwood 9 7 1 108.1% 9. Melbourne 9 8 0 109.7% 10. GWS 8 9 0 100.2% 11. Fremantle 7 10 0 96.5% 12. Carlton 7 10 0 93.0% 13. Gold Coast 6 10 1 97.5% 14. Essendon 6 10 1 78.2% 15. Sydney 5 12 0 80.8% 16. Hawthorn 4 13 0 78.8% 17. North Melbourne 3 14 0 70.7% 18. Adelaide 3 14 0 65.6%

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Essendon
The old stats watchers... I thought Smith did alright actually aside from that HTB. won some good 1 on 1 battles with Cameron etc.
-
NON MFC: Round 17
Agreed. he punch to Gawn should have been a fine. blatently trying to get our best player out of the game results should have been out yesterday so I assume he got nothing
-
NON MFC: Round 17
I'd take an ageing Stratton over Chip or Frost anyday. No way it would have been Stratton's decision to retire Wouldn't go O'meara, doesnt strike me as leadership material. they don't have many candidates... maybe Mitchell? he should be back to his best next year
-
NON MFC: Round 17
Hawthorn have delisted (sorry I mean retired) their captain! Stratton only 31yo They are imploding. where's the popcorn

Serong/Pickett trade
He is a beauty and playing well for his first season in an average side. speaking of comparisons, what about Lewis Jetta in his first season kicking 19 behinds before his first goal. His skills are not bad now??? although frustrating, he will get his radar right soon and be a sharp shooter, I have not doubt

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Who have been playing completely different roles. Easier to pick up Cheap touches down back
-
CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Big game for the Bombers, they COULD finish as high as 11th on the ladder and as low as 14th ? they might as well tank to get pick 5 instead of 8. Or whatever itāll be this year
-
NON MFC: Round 17
I try to add this in to every conversation I have. I googled it just now and wrote āhow long sinceā and āsince Essendon won a finalā automatically came up! ?
-
CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Essendon
The team played well and worked for each other. I wouldnt make any changes unless needed through injury or rest. Bringing in an out of form player like Harmes doesnāt make sense to me
-
NON MFC: Round 17
Their succession plan is going a treat so far! ? have to think he is trying to make excuses for his performance though. 16 years without a finals win, any club would not be happy with that.

NON MFC: Round 17
Anyone know what Mumford got for the clothes-line on clarry?

Lachie Neale Tackle
Was not a sling. His arms were mostly free and contact fell on his shoulder mostly. not suspension worthy imo
