One game to go and we could still play 5 different teams week 1 of finals. Sydney home or away, Cats, Tigers, Blues, Dogs giants almost beat the dogs last week, whos to say they won’t beat Freo at home this week? can’t remember ever having this many perms and combs possible in the last round.

We need to beat the Lions by at last 15 more points than the swans beat the saints to finish second hopefully The Saints play one of their on games

Will be interesting to see how Clarko handles the negotiations. Will be around power and control and bringing his own people in. Unless the bombers let him control footy matters he will walk, whether that is now or in 1-2 years when the bombers heirarchy change their mind. Toxic club but maybe Clarko can fix it. List wise, the bombers are the obvious choice. They have 4/5 high quality kids. And 4-5 quality senior players in their peak. Some good trade bait

Similar to how the Hawks treated Clarkson. Said he would coach out his contract into the next year and then thought they might lose Mitchell and virtually sacked a 4 time premiership coach. Staggering. I certainly hope we never treat our own like this

Harmes in for Sparrow or Rivers (both stiff!) Laurie to debut for Spargo Laurie with 6 tackles, a goal and 19 touches in a tight game last week. I reckon an injection of youth and excitement will help us. Hard to see us bringing JVR with Milkshake playing so well I know Spargo brings pressure but he has to contribute with a decent number of touches and hit the scoreboard too. 4 touches in a huge game is not enough when combined with his average form

I reckon the Pies are cooked and peaked around a month ago. The Blues will beat them on and Sunday and their season will be over with a whimper their young players are starting to tire. Even young Daicos is well off the boil Ginnivan out is big. Their best inside mid in Adams can’t get on the park. Should be back by finals they hope they looked exhausted against the swans the ponies forgot their one trick

Harmes comes in and shuts down Neale. Who wins their clearances? we have the wood on them. Bring the intensity and we should win. Hopefully by 30pts and sneak past the swannies into 2nd spot!

The bombers are averaging just over 20K for their last couple of home games so there is ZERO reasons why they should not travel down to Kardinia Park next year! Us on the other hand are premiers and Cats/Dees games are marquee, clearly should be on the big stage

The bombers are throwing the kitchen sink at Clarko at least have the decency to sack Rutten and let him go with some dignity left Clarko will want to come with his team which might include Viney. Also assurances from CEO and president that he can make key decisions. Might take some time

Good thread. I do feel though with being 10-0 our expectations were heightened. Last ten games we 5-5 which is the same as bombers and the crows. So for me this is where the negativity has come from. We have no consistency. but I completely agree we should enjoying the ride and staying positive

With sore bodies and carried injuries I don’t reckon we can win from outside the top 4. So Friday, everything is on the line
