Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Has Frost ever played a role other than as a defender ?? Does he have the skillset to go to the midfield or as a linkman streaming through the wing. I just don't think we should be too ready to dispense with him yet.

Josh Kelly
I'll throw in my 3 children too if that helps.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Can we keep Lever away from our Romsey based demonlanders please. We don't know where they've been ( though we could make an educated guess )

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Of course he's right .......... except about Kurt !!

Are you there Harry? Vale Harry Beitzel
Harry was always insightful but one cross from Tommy Lahiff always sticks in my mind. Tommy was in the Collingwood rooms and when Harry asked him for any news just prior to the game, Tommy reported that " Daicos has got a groin". That must be part of the reason that Josh Daicos was born.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Demon stone is clearly having trouble with his worms.......... and for a lot of demonlanders, it's much crutch nurse.

Clarence Oliver
This may be heresy in this thread, but shouldn't Clarry be managed for a week. He has been full on this year and you feel as if he needs a freshen up coming into this phase of the season.

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
1974 for me. Ah those were the days, when I could string two woods together. I'm starting to loose it now. And it was my favourite subject !!!

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
He also sprints like a gazelle, he's tall, he's evasive and he can boot the ball a mile. But yes the inexplicable fumbles are a bit annoying.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I dont think Lever is by any means over the line for us but the point is an argument could be made to him about a future at a successful Melbourne football club. When exactly can that ever have been said in the last 15 years ??? That's what I like about this current discussion.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
Is this the appropriate thread to make a suggestion on a Latin motto for the club after Saturdays belting of the Crows under lights at Adelaide oval. The Saints have " Fortius quo fidelis" , Carlton, " Men's sana in corpore sana " What about " Lucent en tenebris" for us. If I am not very much mistaken, it translates to " They shine in the dark"

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Hold on......... wasn't he just running to the next contest ?????????

The No T$ No B$ Thread
I was informed by some self important little functionary in the second quarter of the Saints v Dees, when I asked for the air conditioning to be turned on as I was just about to collapse with heat apoplexy in the second quarter, that there was no such thing at Etihad. She ushered me into the St John Ambulance area where it was a fraction cooler at least. I expected to be revived by a gin and tonic taken orally. All I was offered was water. Appalling !!!!!!! No wonder we don't like Etihad !!!!

Clarence Oliver
It's telling that the bomber fans on big footy and bomberblitz have said hardly anything about Oliver after Sunday's match. Not that we care what they think but I would say it is dawning on even the thickest Essendon fan that Oliver will be a one in a generation star.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
A couple of Hibberd kicks yesterday looked a bit wonky but I can tell you the Bomber blitzers would rather still have him. He is a major get for us make no mistake.

The Importance of Jordan Lewis
Everyone's upset about the suspension. What Lewis brings to the club is much more than the on field stuff we expect. Picking Lewis up will be repaid multiple times over in forthcoming seasons. What is much more important to the club now is to continue to play with the mindset we are now bringing to each game. It's no longer lambs to the slaughter each week like it was. Make no mistake about the fact that we are an entirely different group nowadays, and Lewis is the embodiment of the change in culture that will see us feared and revered in years to come. Lewis is driven and he has even more reason now to spark the Dees to seldom seen levels

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
I realise now that my support for Collingwood was un ethical, un conscionable and un acceptable. I withdraw it and apologise to all.
