Braydon Preuss leads goal average and he can't get a game and I for one do not understand why he has only played 2 games and yes it is a small sample but he kicked more in pre season matches as well. Small sample but I think it is still valid.

However if we look at goal per game average, disposals av, frees for, contested possessions, effective disposals, disposal efficiency, clearances, rebound 50's, one percenters, stopage clearances, metres gained, intercepts another player is in front of him. Can you guess who?

I didn't mean we were better off, I was pointing out the folly in arguments based solely on stats. We are much worse than last season but it is not because Hogan left.

I am not going to look as it could lead to severe depression! Edit: So I did look at big Max. 50% more kicks, 20% more disposals, 50% more inside 50's, and double the clearances this year. ☹️

You can prove almost anything with dodgy stats deeH. For example Hogan has been replaced in the forward line this year by Jayden Hunt who has kicked more goals than Hogan this year, Hunt has more tackles, more inside 50's, more goal assists, better disposal efficiency, more clearances, more rebound 50's, more metres gained, more intercepts etc,etc, so we are better off. Plus we have May KK and Swallow for free! Edit :- Italics indicate jest and ridiculous use of stats.

We continue to play Tom mcDonald who averages less goals, less disposals, less hit outs per game than Preuss. I don't care how unfit Preuss is he is a better option than TMac at the moment! TMac needs a break. If we could draft a 2 goal per game forward that can pinch hit in the ruck we would jump at it. That is Preuss! Preuss averages more goals per game this season than Hogan. So what if he plays 77% game time. Hogan 90% TMac 88% Out: Tmac - JWagner - Garlett In- Preuss - Dunkley - Lockhart

Demonland is an interesting cross section of the community. Many here would never communicate with each other in the real world. It is not surprising that from time to time we fail to communicate satisfactorily and more particularly fail to understand another's point of view. I personally am annoyed by things that normally I would walk away from. One of the great things about Demonland is communicating with others with a different point of view. I am sure we have geniuses, idiots, savants, druggies, drunkards and deviates (hello uncle) but we are all Demons.
