Most if not all of their goals came from our turnovers..... let that sink in.

I wouldn't put this rumour as dead just yet, Goodwin, Melksham and also is great mates with Watts..... interesting one

My personal favorite was when he said that Port Adelaide would defeat Geelong in the 2007 grand final due to their club culture. How did that work out I wonder?
Wouldn't look too much past it, he's a Geelong man.
-
I wouldn't mind Sam day from Gold Coast. Seems to be the odd man out with Peter wright coming in
I forgot all about Peter Wright, has he done much this year?
-
Will be my last game for a while that I attend, seeing as I'm buggering off to England for 5 years, perhaps even forever. One last time in the demon army squad won't go astray.

Get keen to stick it up the Dogs the week after, then Carlscum, just pip Freo and then knock off GWS in a 10 goal belting
Finals baby- 1
-
Yarran, Tomlinson, Prestia, O'Meara and Motlop.
-
Henderson from the Blues? FA I believe.

How's the mighty Catters going Mitchy?
-
forget the nab challenge tsfka, it means absolutely zilch
When Freo are pretty much full strength, then yeah, the NAB challenge does mean something if we were able to only lose by a minor margin.
-
Not even round 2 and 'rumours' are already starting, Aish to Melb, Yarran to Melb, Danger to Cats, Rance to Dockers, etc...
In saying that, I'd love for us to make a play for Shiel and Treloar, throw Hawkins in too.

Knock off Giants, knock off the Crows, knock off the Tiges, knock off the Dockers......... I could get used to winning every week!

Ablett and O'Meara might now play, Day, Dixon and Lynch (suspended) also might not play. But we're the MFC, doesn't matter who's out we'll still lose!
-
This is just like high school with all this bickering holy f**k. It's footy, we go for the same team, opinions are like assholes we all have one!!!!
-
Treloar, Sloane, Shiel, just to name a few... Two of these are better than one Dangerfield.

The only NAB Cup game Hogan played in last season wasnt even televised. We all had to rely on 2nd hand reports of his injury too. it was brutal.
Thursday night cant come fast enough!
The Melbourne v Geelong match where he hurt his back was indeed televised. It only wasn't until around a few weeks later we found out from memory, I recall Damien Barrett break the news about it on TFS.

When is the playing group announced?
Two days before gameday I'm pretty sure, if true then tomorrow.

Well said BB, Matt Jones Terlich, McKenzie, Bail were solid today, stand outs for me today were Salem, Cross, Garlett , Nathan Jones - pleasant surprises Billy Stretch and Frost
Agree Dawes was still double grabbing disappointingly, although he managed to hold on with the second
Gawn and Spencer were about on par today, not the day for big men, about the only one still going full steam at the end was Pedersen
Vandenberg didn't play because his shoulder needs one more week, Watts because of his groin, White his toe, Vince and Howie with hammy and Jack Fitzpatrick with back related issue (I think), Hunt same still working to full fitness
Had a chat to Petracca, he is fine, just wants to stay involved, more pleased with his tweet referencing a 'computer'/console game, and JB HiFi coughed up 20 new ones, said he might mention he wouldn't mind a Mercedes in a tweet
Howie is getting frustrated, the fitness/medical staff are holding him back, he hasn't been given a return to aim at, just has to follow day by day, understands the caution though, Bernice Vince redoing his didn't help
How far away is BV away from training/playing?

I'd rather be Melbourne than anyone else, fk the rest. We have a good young list that should get us our next flag, and it will happen. Patience.

Oscar's kicking is completely different to Tom's... in the best possible way! I can see Oscar being a swingman type for us, can be down forward and can be down back.

Trengove - keep if his foot heels, even rookie list him, if it's still not better by the end of next year then delist
Jamar (UFA) - should be his last season, if fit he may go for one more, IIRC in his season review he was saying how he feels he can go a couple more. We'll see what pans out.
Garland (RFA) - should remain a dee in 2016, had an iffy 2014 season, but was injured and missed pre-season. He's a keep.
McKenzie - should be delisted, Cross the main tagger in 2014, McKenzie filled in and was just ok. Still a good tagger, but nothing much other than that. Delist.
Howe - would get a few decent offers thrown at him you'd reckon, ala GWS late in the trade period. Could provide a bit of trade bait, if gone it'll hurt our merchandising. He does his job, as the year went on he sunk into the backline role better, he's a keep.
N Jones (RFA) - keep, keep, keep, keep, KEEP. Obvious reasons why, has to re-sign, WILL re-sign.
Evans - showed a bit in 2013 in the worst MFC team ever before injured, didn't do much in the game he played this year, delist.
Gawn - definite keep. Provides a good target up forward and is only getting better with his ruck work, will be our main ruckman in the near future. He's a keep.
Fitzpatrick - has shown signs, last two games this year he was good. Will be happy to re-sign him if he keeps it up, can provide solid forward depth if he doesn't cement a spot in the 22. He's a keep.
Toumpas - didn't do much in 2013 due to overcoming serious injuries, sent to casey and injured in 2014, let's see what this man is made of next year. Still got high hopes for the Toump, Roos was treating him as a first year player this year, McCartney will develop Toump into a fine running outside mid. He's a keep.
Pedersen - had a decent 2014 campaign, provides a contest, has great hands. Should be a dee beyond 2015, I see no reason why he wouldn't.
Salem - although didn't rake a whole heap of disposal this year, he showed great signs, Macca will work his magic on him and by the end of 2015 he should be in our starting 22, will be a fine player this guy. He's a keep.
Kennedy-Harris - young player, slowed down before the end of year, as expected. Will have a better 2014 and will re-sign with the red and blue. The Wiz V.2. He's a keep.
Hunt - honestly don't know enough about him to comment.
Cross - 2015 should be his last season, hopefully stays at the MFC in some sort of mentoring role.
Bail - had a good year, deserved the contract he got given, if he keeps it up he should be re-signed again. He's a keep.
Riley - had an ok year, love his grunt, doesn't do much more than that though. I wouldn't lose sleep if he's gone at the end of next year. Delist.
Harmes - project mid, rookie'd again for 2015, good player and will be a surprise packet to many. He's a keep.
King - assuming he's already signed for next year? Project ruck, rucks take a long time, and so will this kid, he's a keep. -
Will be remembered as the guy that got us Tmac, thanks Fet

Surplus from other teams
in Melbourne Demons

I really rate Ben Lennon, could get him fairly cheap, our coaching staff could weave their magic and turn him into something gold.
Also anyone who even mentions Ben Griffiths as a possible target, deserves a swift kick in the nuts. I'd rather pop someone like JKH in the ruck over that spud.
