Rumour File
If AvB is gone, in a heart beat. Gives us that outside speed that we lack. I know decision making isn't Zak's strength, but this can be worked on. It's not as if vanders was a precision user of the footy either.

I understand the dislike of North, but how can you call them underachieving in one breath, and then say he would be mad not to come to us in the next? Sure, we have a fabulous young list with a bright future, but we’ve done nothing for a long time. North finished 2 games behind us and have some exciting young players. If Gaff is offered $400,000 a year more by North, where do you reckon he is going?

Andrew Gaff told you that?

Gossage said just two weeks ago that Adam Cerra from Fremantle was very gettable at the end of the year, even though contracted. Fremantle and Cerra's manager all came out soon afterwards and said Cerra was looking to extend his contract. Gossage was made to look a right dill.

Jordan Lewis wouldn’t want too many people to see that video. Do you think Goodwin would have the gonads to send him back to Casey to work on his effort when he doesn’t have the footy???

I'd love for you to indicate to me one other person who knows anything about the game that doesn't rate him?

Every expert/commentator/pundit in the game has him in their All-Australian team. He's been in it before, he will be again. Some have him in Brownlow talk. Yet you think he won't make us better. You sir, are a goose

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Bit of talk going around that young Jake is on $650,000. Good coin for a 21 year old, but certainly not going to throw things out of whack too much.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
A few of the lads from the local footy club are regulars at the gym. They saw our two boys there.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I hear young Jake attended a boxing session with Jack Viney at Richmond Boxing this morning. Adelaide who????

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
You do deals in good faith. Never want to screw another party because you never know when it might bite you on the ass.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
JL is a very accomplished boxer apparently. I reckon the kid will hold his own.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I'm not sure why people are so concerned with what we might potentially pay Jake. Todd Viney and his list management team plan for every conceivable senario years out from it eventuating. This will not be a panicked, spur of the moment decision.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
The club placed Nibbler at Scotch too.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Sorry mate. I just find it a really frustrating time of year. I'm praying your news is on the money.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Lever is 100% coming home. Put your house on it. (I have no inside mail and no sources but if I don't divulge anything nobody will be any the wiser. Is that how you play?)

Jeff 'Wiz' Farmer
He is running around in the Casey Development team. Played on Saturday.

The youngest most inexperienced side
Gosh, I bloody hope so!

The youngest most inexperienced side
Last thing I'll say on this because I haven't got all day to trade quotes with you Stuie. Our list will improve through trading, free agency and continued good drafting. And continuing to be patient. Your argument is flawed because our kids are developing, aren't they? Is the team not improving?
-
The youngest most inexperienced side
Fair call. I think the development of players under the current coaching set up if far better. I also believe we have senior players around them who can help the team develop. We could do with some more experienced, quality players, but our list is a slow build and will take time.
-
The youngest most inexperienced side
If we had the best of both worlds (a great blend of youth and experience) we'd be a top 8 team. We don't, that's why we aren't able to play consistently against good sides. It will come.
-
The youngest most inexperienced side
Not my graph. I think the poster was answering a prior question about us having a side one week that had an average of 30 games played.

The youngest most inexperienced side
It happens with good coaching and by playing with good footballers. We are providing them with both.
