I really want to know why we haven’t been linked to Sid Draper in any of the many phantom drafts. Every one I’ve read has Draper linked to Carlton, Adelaide, St Kilda and even the Roos in a few but not one has us linked to him at all. I thought that if all of FOS, Lalor, Smith and Langford are off the board that Draper would be the next best. I’d rather Draper or Smillie at our first pick than Tauru. 🤞🏼

Reading Langford’s body language on gettable makes me think that he’s going to Adelaide. He looks really flat. Makes me think that he knows that he’s moving interstate. I really hope that I’m completely wrong with this.

Harvey Langford reminds me of Cameron Ling, especially his kicking style. I hope if he ends up a Melbourne player that develops into a gun mid and not a gun tagger like Ling.

Just wanted to share with everyone that my mum went to a luncheon last week at the Australian club where Jason Taylor was the guest speaker. Jason informed everyone in the room that Melbourne will be drafting midfielders this year. So I doubt we’ll see Harry Armstrong in the red and blue next year.

And there was talk of there being more chance of him requesting a trade to WA, so WC will have an early pick to trade.

We already have freo’s first and our own first round pick, add another early first for Kozzy and that equates to a massive draft hand. I’d rather Kozzy too, but I think he’s out the door unfortunately.

If Kozzie does request a trade at years end, we’ll end up with a massive draft hand that we can potentially use to get our hands on Harley Reid. Not saying that I want Kozzie to leave, but it may work out in our favour. 🤞🏼
