The Cross signing was out of the ordinary. Usually these deals fall flat unless a gap needs filling for a premiership contender ala Dew.
Can't see any point for us signing Judd, Sewell or O' Keefe. All energies should go getting some mid career types like Vince.
I know a lot of Doggy fans and they are still very unhappy he was not retained by them. They feel their is a leadership vacuum at their club. Their loss is our gain.
Agree except for Howe. Think he has developed his game a lot this year and is no longer a 1 trick pony. Expect he will eventually go forward again with a more defensive mindset.Grimes and Garland have been very disappointing.
It's interesting how Roos is ramping up the pressure. The warm and cuddly start to the season seems to be over. I think he has now got his head around the list and the cuts may go deep.
I agree it's very exciting at the moment. it's a good time to reflect on how lucky we are to have Roos and his acolytes. The Swans are still reaping the rewards of his reign and the transition to Horse Longmire is a lesson on how it should be done. I know that Mick Malthouses view that the Swans are the best he has seen is self serving hyperbole nonetheless it is a testament to the influence of Roos. He will see us right because his motivation isn't just cash and ego.
it's easy to forget that Tom is only 21. He's done amazingly well to hold his spot in a backline under so much pressure. A really good signing and hopefully he will be a Dee for life. Can't understand the knockers.
Tappy playslike a muscle bound battering ram. Unfortunately has no agility with poor lateral movement and no subtlety to his game. A little like Beamer I think.
Happy to back the current regime re Dom. They are more informed than any of us. Seems to have lots of natural ability but has much to learn about playing at the highest level. This takes time hence the 2 years.
