Surely this makes Hirds position even more untenable, along with Doc Reid and Bomba Thompson. Essendon may well implode and I wonder about the position of players in the draft going to Essendon. Could they refuse on the basis of the long term viability of the club. Would not like to see my son going into such a chaotic environment.
