The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
like most things in life the truth probably lies between the two extremes expressed here re Connolly. He obviously did some good work for the club but I suspect he carries a chip on his shoulder about not being given the coaching gig and I doubt ever fully supported the coaches who were there during his time. I can't understand him buying in to the Hogan/ Freo thing without there being some angst behind it. He was only stating the obvious after all

I seem to remember Jetta being offered a contract mid season after being elevated off the Rookie list.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's offered a contract very soon.

In what way was Kelly O'Donnell so significant?

Loved his game. Our midfield have some size about them and really know how to tackle. Add Viney to tonight's group and they look pretty ferocious. Shame about Kent - we need his zip.

Can take a contested grab, can kick a goal, has a good turn of speed and is a great size. What's not to like.

Josh Lyon - is the son of a gun a gun?
It would be strange watching Lyon, Stretch, Lovett and Viney line up together - back to the future

Kieran Jack would be another example.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA
Diversity makes a great side and Toumpas is a distributor rather than an inside mid, as is Watts and probably Salem. They will be the beneficiaries of our new big bodied midfield.

I'm still not excited by Scullys highlights package

A big bodied, explosive, ready to go mid who can kick goals and seems driven to succeed. What's not to like?

Why not make the comparison with Dustin Martin who has settled down to be one of the top midfielder/forwards in the business despite coming from a long way back in the attitude dept. I would back our new development staff of McCartney etc to sort out any issues.

FFS the kid is 18 and full of testosterone. Give him a break. We don't need any more introverted shrinking violets. Love his attitude when he said pick me and I won't let you down. Any rough edges can be smoothed over. Show me anyone who is the full package at that age.

There was an old magpie player James Tarbottom - nickname Sticky Date.
