  1. I suggest this coming round against North may be a defining point that tells whether there really has been a cultural shift. Really important to make a statement
  2. Not to forget Oliver and Viney
  3. It was coming from the coaches box
  4. Few nervous boys in the firsts tomorrow- and a good job too.
  5. I take it Grimes is on senior duty as I haven't heard his name called
  6. I really hate seeing any young player with that injury. Still needs a lot of research about the biomechanics. Not much progress has been made.
  7. Reminiscent of the Toump. We seem to specialise in these types.
  8. Reminiscent of the Toump. We seem to specialise in these types.
  9. Compromising photos of Roosey?
  10. Must admit Scully is finally starting to produce - bugger him. Mind you he has taken a few $million years to produce.
  11. God gave up on us years ago. He is a Hawks supporter.
  12. Pretty silly of Misson to be so dogmatic. Just designed to pi$$ supporters off. There is enough to get people offside without that.
  13. I really like what Caleb Daniel brings to their midfield. Works really hard to run to the right position and always delivers to advantage. Has overcome the size disadvantage to become an important player. Great recruiting.
  14. I would be interested to know who Demonlanders think will be on the interchange
  15. It seems Matthews continues to be a polarising figure.
  16. As limited as he is, I think he is the best presence we've got so far as a leader up forward and as a support for Hogan.
  17. I must confess to actively disliking Matthews for his on field thuggery and I believe he is a very remote and aloof character off-field with few footy friends. I think modern coaches are much more multi-dimensional and would be more effective with the current generation of players.
  18. I'm not sure that he is. Whenever I've heard Hawthorn people interviewed and that includes Beveridge and Bolton they have praised Clarkson for being a good listener, taking onboard input from others, generally being very collaborative and able to build strong reIationships. I don't get the sense he is a fire and brimstone type at all.
  19. I definitely don't think that Matthews would be the coach for GenY footballers
  20. I think Hogan has the acceleration - he just doesn't lead.
  21. The problem is who will cover their tall forward line - Waite, Petrie, Brown etc
  22. If this keeps happening Melbourne clubs will think very hard before drafting WA recruits. I am sure if we got Natanui he'd be gone by now. It's a problem that needs to be addressed by the AFL
