Was impressed by Lockhart down back, whoever from the coaching staff tthought that one up has found a good one there. Beford vs Kossie vs Spargo... TBH Beford is leading the race for round 1, he obviously showed up to preseason in great condition running 2nd(?) in the time trial and has shown enough in my opinion. Feel as though people want Kossie to play to fit the narrative, I think it'll be good to make him absolutely earn his spot after some solid form at Casey, games and debuts aren't just handed out

Exactly right, looking at his stats he kicked 4 & had 20 touches in round 22 so probably cemented his spot in the side. It never sits well with me when people say “such an such is the worst premiership player of all time”. There is always a back story to how hard these players work to firstly get to the AFL and then forge a career in the AFL, there is certainly a case of right time right place and some get lucky but there is more to it then a lot of people think

For anyone who has Netflix I just finished the Aaron Hernandez doco. I knew nothing of this, happened before I took an interest in the NFL and never really heard much about it in the media. Recommend watching it, very strange individual. Concussions & CTE was touched on in the documentary, I personally think it may have contributed but this bloke had some serious issues which also contributed to it all

A piece inside me dies every time I watch this Kyle Shannahan lead 49ers side... He is a mastermind on offense the way he sets the running game up is superb. The way their offense moves the ball and can put up big scores early and put scoreboard pressure on opposing sides reminds me of his 2016/17 year as Falcons OC. Not to mention the job Rob Saleh is doing on the otherside of the ball... If Shanahan doesn't try to get to cute in 2 weeks time like what happened to us in 16/17 they are going to be seriously hard to beat
