I am still going thanks for asking 🙂 I only use my wheelchair when I need to walk 🚶‍♂️ long distances. As I will tend to be less stable on my feet. It also protects me from being knocked down by other people. Unfortunately my stroke has left me with some permanent issues. It was a great day at the WAFL Grand Final. We won 1 and lost 2 games that day. Colts Lost by 2 points, Reserves Lost by 6 points and the League side Won by 12 points. It would have been out of this world 🌎 if we won all three games, but we do like to share. Well if you do make over here, let me know so I can carry a wheel pump LOL 😆

Went to my first game of live league football since my stroke yesterday. The game was held at Leederville Oval, which was our former home ground of 75 years. It was a strange feeling moving around the ground in my electronic wheelchair but I had a good view of the game from the fence line. Luckily I had help from my niece and her boyfriend as moving over sloped grass areas was interesting 🤔 I have a very mixed view of the 2022 football season as I am so disappointed 😞 by how Melbourne finished it's final campaign. But our favourite teams cannot win all the Premierships they deserve 😤 😪 🤧 May 2023 be more successful 🙏 ✨ 🙌 😌 ☺ GO THE DEES!

West Perth had won 4 flags since 1993, but the last win was in 2013. Since I had been a supporter for around 50 years I don't believe the 7 flags they won during this time is enough, l want more! I been a Melbourne supporter since 1999, when the local ALF teams created super WAFL teams by stacking their listed players in host clubs. IMO stabbing West Perth in the back. We did win the 1999 Premiership LOL. But lost the 2002 GF to the Eagles Reserve team (East Perth), we had 1 goal at half time! Anyway back to the 23 years of support of Melbourne, we have only won 1 flag. I want more! How do we get more flags? I want them ALL!

The Purple Army has booked out flights to Melbourne so watch out for them. That good news for us over here as there will be less Shockers per Demon supporters. I had heard it cost around $2,000 for a ticket.

Maybe one of my teams may make it as West Perth won the minor premiership. First time that has happened since 1993. Wait that was the year they lost the GF! Not sure how 2022 will turn out.
