West Perth had won 4 flags since 1993, but the last win was in 2013. Since I had been a supporter for around 50 years I don't believe the 7 flags they won during this time is enough, l want more! I been a Melbourne supporter since 1999, when the local ALF teams created super WAFL teams by stacking their listed players in host clubs. IMO stabbing West Perth in the back. We did win the 1999 Premiership LOL. But lost the 2002 GF to the Eagles Reserve team (East Perth), we had 1 goal at half time! Anyway back to the 23 years of support of Melbourne, we have only won 1 flag. I want more! How do we get more flags? I want them ALL!

The Purple Army has booked out flights to Melbourne so watch out for them. That good news for us over here as there will be less Shockers per Demon supporters. I had heard it cost around $2,000 for a ticket.

Maybe one of my teams may make it as West Perth won the minor premiership. First time that has happened since 1993. Wait that was the year they lost the GF! Not sure how 2022 will turn out.

Never had Melbourne fc stuff in Coles before this year. Sounds like I need to get another 4 pens. So I can keep up with the Jones 😆 I did also get some Melbourne band aids for when we lose our first game in 2022. It will be a messy time.

Just purchased a Melbourne pen from Coles. Push the button and it plays It a Grand Old Flag. You should all get one to annoy anyone who is not a true believer! 🙂

IMO All other AFL Clubs purpose is so we can beat them up (on the score board). Their fans should understand this and sit quietly while it happens or become a Dees supporter (Collingwood and Essendon supporters need not apply).

I hate to say it, but Mark Neeld was right. Melbourne has become the hardest team to score against. And ultimately it was due to him being the head coach. But more importantly becoming a galvanising figure for the club to focus on the rebuilds of all rebuilds, the one that ultimately ruled all others! My hope is that we never recruit another person from Collingwood again! Wait where did our current CEO come from again? Oh that right from Fitzroy, everything is good again.

I wish I could still do all the things I was able to do pre-stroke but life moves on. It would be very difficult to keep the same team for sale an extended time due to salary caps, lack of opportunity for certain players etc. Also the club needs to improve the list by developing it future players as the list ages. I am glad to only be an arm chair critic and leave the hard decisions to other more capable people. As a supporter I am still trying to recover from all the previous failed rebuild over a 57 year period. Atleast we finally got the latest rebuild right. GO THE DEES! I would like to order another three premierships in the next three years.
