  1. I noticed that too in the match day thread and made mention of it in my dislikes/concerns section of our podcast. Too many opposition players brush past half hearted one armed tackle efforts. There are notable exceptions when it comes to tackling but there are a lot of players who need to improve in this area.
  2. Particularly in light of the Polly Farmer story today and the ongoing concussion stories of players like Monkhurst and our own Shaun Smith. If the AFL are serious about this issue then the head has to be sacrosanct. If you let players off for this then you are saying that head contact is ok. If they give Crouch a week or two to be served in the season proper I guarantee he'll think twice the next time. Now some other poor bugger might come off worse the next time and the AFL may be a indirectly at fault.
  3. It's the perfect place to superimpose one if and when we do. For now we'll just have to settle for the AFLX Trophy.
  4. Seems the Bombers are being given an early pass by the media for their off season surgeries. Most in the media we're happy to ignore or were just plain ignorant of it when it came to the Demons. Smashed by 15 surgeries, can Dons recover in time?
  5. Last resort but of course we'll somehow get robbed of a premiership because of this virus. How's that for a case of MFCSS?
  6. Wrong. They're all Mitch Clark.
  7. I'm limited by high quality images available.
  8. The Banner wasn't complete yet.
  9. The final banner hasn't been finalised yet. It's a work in progress.
  10. The boys (the players not the Trackwatchers) have been out in the community visiting schools as part of the Marsh Community Series. Having said that I would assume that is as a supplement to training and not instead of.
  11. I'm pretty sure it happened when my computer was playing up early in the show. My browser completely shut down and I lost all my notes until I could restart. Stands to reason that the audio recording was affected by whatever my computer was experiencing. Hopefully it's only in the first part of the show.

  16. Well that settles it then. There's a very good chance that they'll do the same for this match. Cheers.
  17. I wouldn't bank on it being available after the fact. I can't remember what the situation was last year with the Collingwood game and whether it was available post match. The wording of the announcement of the stream only mentions "if you can't make it to Arden Street for the clash, you'll be able to watch the game live on melbournefc.com.au and via the club's mobile app".
  18. I'm planning on heading down.
  19. No leadership group means plenty of responsibility. How a ‘disappointed’ Jack Viney responded to losing Melbourne captaincy role Melbourne coach Goodwin said Viney had responded positively to his new role. “My conversations with him have been really simple; he is all in,” Goodwin said. “He wants this club to be the best club it can be, he wants to support Max in the best way that he can. “There will be people out there that will say, ‘Is he all in?’ Well, if you ask that question you don’t know Jack Viney. He’s never been more passionate about this footy club.”
  20. I overheard someone at the family day mentioned that one of the players said that the team would be made up of mostly under 23s.
