The Saints are working hard to cobble together trades for Brad Hill and their own conga line of incoming prospects while the Magpies are cleaning house with James Aish, Rupert Wills and Matt Scharenberg all set to depart if they can find suitors. One player who isn't going anywhere is Gold Coast's Ben King who has re-committed with the Suns until the end of 2022. It's likely that he will be joined by Geelong ruckman Zac Smith who has already been there and done that at the Suns. All of these mooted trades are hanging on a precipice waiting for the Bombers and Swans to come to terms over Joe Daniher. Heaven help us all if they can't lock a deal in by Wednesday night.
