Noel McMahen (premiership captain in 1955 & 1956) is also still with us at 94 years of age. And let’s hope that in two weeks time we will have another premiership captain.Melbourne Hall of Famer, John Beckwith, played in five premierships with the club - 1955, 1956, 1957, 1959 and 1960. He was Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Medallist in 1957 and was captain from 1957 to 59.
