  4. After a fast start the Demons took control and despite a more spirited second half by their opponents they banked another four points winning their fourth game in row as they downed the Hawks by 54 points at the MCG.

  6. It’s been a big week for the Melbourne Football Club which fought the good fight to uphold the integrity of the game. Today is the day of the players to back that up on the football field against Hawthorn. We need the supporters to come out on force to cheer them on.

  8. I would assume it is to lighten the load on his foot that he hurt in the preseason. I interviewed Aaron vandenBerg a few years ago and he mentioned that he no longer or rarely trained during the week to manage and lighten the load on his injury prone feet. It was also one of the topics of the To Hell and Back doco series the Dees made a few years back.

  10. The thing about social media is that for better or for worse it is a one stop shop for your footy team, your favourite band, fishing tips, cooking recipes etc. Hard to compete with that.
