  1. In chrome on the Mac you can just put the mouse over the quote box and hit the square in the top corner and delete.
  2. This also works on a PC. Well so far tested on a Mac in firefox. Will test in other browsers and OSes shortly.
  3. Ok got it. Click on the text in the middle of the quote. The box/square will appear in the top left corner. Click the box/square and hit backspace on the keyboard.
  4. There is a way to delete the quote box on mobile. I'm just trying to replicate it so that it works the first time every time. If you press your finger on the quote box, not sure where you have to do it at the moment, a little box appears above the top left corner. Once that box appears click it and the hit backspace.
  5. You can also use the mouse to highlight the entire quote and hit delete.
  6. Fixed. Can you please confirm? Unless you are ignoring me and can't see this post.
  7. As I don't ignore anyone I was not aware of this. I will change it as soon as I find the setting. It should be customizable.
  8. We did it: http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2015-12-11/melbourne-passes-25000-members
  9. The first time you click in the text box and click backspace it tries to delete the contents of the quote. The second time allows you to delete the whole quote. I'll have to look into switching off the retention of the last reply. It's only keeping replies if you start to post something and then don't. I think. It's there as a an auto-save measure so you don't lose a post you were writing. There are pros and cons to it. As long as you hit submit reply or delete the post before you move on it won't be there the next time you visit that thread. Also this is the way the system is designed. It is not doing anything it's not supposed to do. It's not a bug. It is auto saving your post for you. If you don't post or clear it before you leave the page it will be there for you the next time.
  10. You can delete the quote you just need to click in the text box just under the quote and press backspace. For some reason it doesn't delete then so you have to repeat the process. Click in the text box just under the quote and press backspace. The quote should be deleted

  12. Just replied to you using safari on a Mac and quoting so no I am not experiencing this. What version of OSX are you? What version of Safari? You can find these by clicking the Apple symbol in the top left corner of the screen and selecting the first option About the Mac. To find the version of Safari. Open Safari. Click the word Safari at the top left of the screen and select the first option About Safari.
  13. This year was our 15th year since we began as project for an IT course I was doing during Round 7, 2000.
  14. Try pressing the space bar after the full stop and then hitting return. If you don't hit the spacebar after a full stop and just hit return it won't go to upper case. Hitting the space bar after a full stop will engage the upper case. This is nothing to do with the forum but the iPhone in general. Also a quick way to get a full stop is by double tapping the spacebar at the end of a sentence. That will also engage the upper case because it will automatically create a space after the full stop.
  15. On a computer or mobile device? I believe on a computer this is normal keyboard behaviour. On an iPhone when you start a new sentence wherever a new paragraph or not it automatically selects an upper case.
  16. I believe that meme is meant to be accompanied by this gif. We really need a Jesse meme.
  17. For me this happening when I haven't started writing a post and then not sent it and then I go back and that post is still there. It will remain there until you delete it or post that post or something else within that thread. What it is doing is auto-saving the post for you. Are you saying that this is not what is happening and the same post you have already posted is remaining there or popping up in other threads?

  20. Yeah the notifications can be overwhelming. You can switch them off. Are you using a PC or mobile device? PC - Click the Bell icon at the top of the page (right side between Create and the envelope) and then click Notification Settings and tailor it to suit your needs. Mobile - Top right of the page is an icon with 3 white horizontal lines. Click it to open it and then click the Bell icon and then click Notification Settings.
  21. Scott Pendlebury has made an extraordinary prediction about young gun Jesse Hogan. Scott Pendlebury wouldn’t be surprised if Jesse Hogan kicks 100 goals in 2016 From your lips Pendles to Jesse's ears.
  22. I think it's meant to be like that. In previous versions if you began to write a post and something happened and you went back the post was gone. This version saves what you had in there. It works so well though that it can be a nuisance. For example if you write a post but never send it because you changed your mind or cooled down it's still there waiting for you but only in that thread or message. The message meant for that thread that was never sent won't follow you into other threads. If you see it highlighting it and deleting it is the best way to get rid of it so it won't be there next time. ManDee can you try to post again and tell me if it's still there?
  23. The club is trying to reach 25,000 members by the end of the week. If you haven't already purchased your membership for 2016 do so now to help the club reach this goal. Pass it on to your mates too.
