  1. See my last post. You need to hit return after the link. Then submit.
  2. Ok so you need to paste the link and then hit return and it will display. Then you submit the post.
  3. Good question. It worked the other day by simply pasting the URL.
  4. I was going to bring this up as I just noticed the setting for this hidden away. There is a setting that you can have that when you hit return it goes to the next line or it starts a new paragraph. It was set to starting a new paragraph by default. What do people prefer?
  5. Can you try it again. It should work. I've given the Annual Members group the same privileges.
  6. Check to see if that option is there now. I think it had something to do with whether a particular group is allowed to post HTML. Currently only the admin group was allowed. I have enabled it on Life Members. Let me know if that works for you. And if a member can confirm that they can't see the source button on the text editor.
  7. Are you using a computer or phone to use Demonland?
  8. News travels fast. The action taken was vindicated and we will not tolerate abuse of mods either in direct discussion on boards or by PMs - in this case, the banning was as a result of both. Posters should be aware that they should respond to PMs by answering the person they are conversing with and not by email which results in my becoming involved as the moderator receiving the emails. This is not the first time we have had to take action over abuse which was partly due to the contents of a PM. Like umpires, it's very easy for those who are not moderators to criticise decisions we have to make - a lot more difficult being a moderator I won't be taking any further correspondence on this matter but I am happy to take applications for moderator positions. Thank you.
  9. It appears as if the video size adjusts depending on how big your screen.
  10. There is a button on the Text Editor toolbar called Source. I think that is what you are looking for.
  11. That is awesome. Thank you!!!
  12. Thank you everyone. You are all very generous and I really do appreciate it. We've pretty much covered the costs of running the site for this year in a week. Thank you.
  13. Thank you to everyone who has donated. We really are appreciative and I have already past some of it on to Nasher. Thank you.
  14. I would suggest that you just put everyone on ignore and only read your own posts. That's what I do.
  15. on a pc. on a mobile you simply use your finger to click on the text of the quote box and it will create a blue square outline around the text in the quote box as well as the square appear in the top left corner above the quote box. you can then either edit the text within the quote box or click the square in the top left and delete the quote box by hitting back space. Mobile touchscreens are inherently cumbersome adding extra steps to what you can do with a mouse. This is not a limitation of the forum software.
  16. I guess it gives you the option to put your mouse in the quote box and delete/edit the text in there or click the square in the top corner to delete the quoted box entirely. Not sure what's cumbersome about that.
