How much for the 5 goals the next week?
  4. I stand corrected. PlayStation it is.
  5. I assume he means the VFL.
  6. The TEAM OF THE WEEK you don't want to be on.
  7. Bob Spargo Sr. and Charlie Spargo - Great granddfather and great grandson combination.
  8. Soon.
  9. Perhaps we can use this thread to discuss the best Father Son combinations at the Dees.
  10. Here is a list of all players drafted under the father and son rule from all clubs. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_players_drafted_to_the_Australian_Football_League_under_the_father–son_rule
  11. Misson’s injury assessments Dean Kent (hamstring) – 3 weeks “Kenty’s going really well. He’s doing some good solid running work and is starting to do some skills. He’ll play in and around the bye week.” Mitch King (elbow) – available “Mitch has had an elbow [injury] and has been going very well. He’s been doing a lot of contact in rehab, and he joined the group today for training. He’ll be available this week.” Corey Maynard (hip) – indefinite “Corey is progressing with that hip. He’s starting to run fast and is doing a bit more work in rehab. We’re not putting a timeframe on him.” Pat McKenna (hamstring) – indefinite “Patty is starting to run at 90 per cent and we’re starting to increase his agility and one-on-one skills, but we’re not putting a definitive timeframe on him.” Aaron vandenBerg (ankle) – 4-6 weeks “Vanders is going really well. We’re seeing the type of athlete that we’ve come to know and love Aaron to be – he’s powerful, explosive, but he also has a good tank. He’s really showing that in rehab, so we’re looking forward to seeing him just after the bye.” Sam Weideman (calf) – 1 week “Weids unfortunately just had a minor calf strain at training last Thursday. He actually did the whole session, but we felt it was too risky to put him in for the game. We’re going to look after him by not pushing him to play this week on a short turnaround. We think he’ll definitely be available this week.”

Censorship? Posts that say another poster is full of shit are usually deleted by mods if we see them. I happened to see this one and it was deleted. Usually it would be accompanied by a warning. I didn't in this instance.

I doubt that they would have drafted Bayley with their pick but I am happy with our end of the trade.
  15. I've never purchased my reserved seat because of the guaranteed Grand Final ticket. I buy it for the reserved seat. I've only got to use the guaranteed GF ticket once in 21 years. Not a great return on investment.

I tend to agree. It all depends on whether its about money or success. If it's just about the money he'll go to the highest bidder and that won't be us. If he wants to come home to chase a flag we'll have to have a good showing this year to entice. If we miss the finals we might not be able to lure him in.

  18. Jack Viney is the ring bearer.
  19. I'm not sure the appearance directly relates to a rise in memberships but it is free exposure and that can't be viewed as a bad thing as some are trying to paint.
  20. Exactly. Not sure how much a commercial is worth these days but I'm sure it's not cheap. This wasn't even a commercial (which alot of people fast forward or go take a leak during). This was during the main event during one of the highest rating show in the country *. You can't put a price on that exposure and considering it was filmed in the off season no one can say it has any impact on our performances this year. I guarantee you the players featured aren't walking around like they're George Clooney or Brad Pitt today because they were on Masterchef last night. * Last Wednesday Night's Ratings (this weeks not available yet) Wednesday 9 May 2018 1 SEVEN NEWS / TODAY TONIGHT 1,022,000 2 SEVEN NEWS 996,000 3 NINE NEWS 952,000 4 NINE NEWS 6:30 927,000 5 MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA 910,000
