I happy for the media, opposition supporters and most importantly other clubs to underestimate us.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Sam Weideman’s dad Mark wearing a Melbourne jumper at Collingwood training in 1983.- 2019 Leadership Group
I've had the pleasure to listen him speak at a few functions since he has arrived and as you said he just oozes leadership. I was extremely impressed at the player sponsors function at the beginning of the season when he just came up to a small group of us and introduced himself and started chatting. In all my time going to functions with players in attendance not one player has ever done that. Having said that I don't expect players to do this but it was a nice surprise for a young player at his first official function.- 2019 Leadership Group
Any changes going into 2019? Current Leadership Group: Nathan Jones, Jack Viney, Max Gawn & Jordan Lewis. Steven May was Gold Coast Co-Captain. Does he get a look in? Someone else? Or leave it the way it is?- Random MFC encounters
Had an Uber driver on the Gold Coast that was a huge Dees fan. Felt like the shortest ride to the airport chatting about the Dees.- Remove the Ads with a Demonland Subscription
That is one of the main ways they are generated.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Hogan is fully aware of what he might be leaving behind at Melbourne after their preliminary final appearance in 2018. “To come from the bottom and see the list now and how close they potentially are to winning a flag, that was a serious factor going into this,” he said. “But I sat down with Simon Goodwin at the end of the year and had a really good chat about where I was at mentally and as a footballer. “Obviously I do want to play in finals and flags, but at this stage it was more important to get back around my family and friends, and have a fresh start.”- Farewell Jesse Hogan

No wonder Giants players are flocking to the Blues. I thought it was because of SOS.- 2019 Jumper Numbers
I have no problem with a 111 in the team. I'm sure @Supermercado would approve.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Thread already created.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Just wait until that post is screenshotted and placed on Facebook which someone then shares via email which is then printed out and taped to a telephone pole and then some millennial takes a selfie in front of and posts it to Snapchat.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I can sympathise with you and your kids there. If Maxy ever left (which he obviously never would) I and my kids would be devastated.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Might have to fly over again for this one. @McQueen @Ethan Tremblay. You might finally get that beer I owe you.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
I can't wait to have a player like May run out onto the G for us. No problem with this tackle or the little thank you very much afterwards. Occasionally you need opposition to earn their free kicks (without crossing the line obviously). Bring on 2019.- 2019 Jumper Numbers
I'll blame it on dyscalculia.- 2019 Jumper Numbers

Why? Expectation? Respect for Jesse?- 2019 Jumper Numbers
I like the ruck/37 combination.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
This. It was Instagram not Reddit. Here is a post from Twitter taking a screenshot of Instagram that I am posting on a web forum. - WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
