N. Jones & C. Bruce on the Footy Show

Featured Replies

Doesn't matter if it's his first media appearance.

Didn't look comfortable and speaks as fluently as an 11 year old reading the Lord Of The Rings

Where did you hear that?

Well done to the players / staff of the club for all getting behind the membership push!

And well done to those members who re-signed.

A damn good result, considering that Acker said on the Footy Show last night the Bullies did a similar thing recently and only signed up around 200 members, and they are flying on field at the minute!

Great idea, and great effort. Aside from the obvious benefits, i reckon it allows a bit of insight into the players as you got to see a few in ways you wouldnt usually see them, mucking around and being a bit silly. Very positive and uplifting, especially with the results, hopefully it continues sunday!

Good that the Dees are doing this. Was pleased to watch both this and Riv's video on MelbournefcTV.

Didn't think Jonesy was that nervous. Sure, he wasn't great but he'll only get better. Bruceys never been that great but I think he still handles the media alright.

Well done to everyone who signed up last night!

Yet another hilarious Jared Rivers production from the night: http://bigpondvideo.com/MelbourneTV/47179

Robbo telling us the players have to buy their own balls... if that's not the most depressing thing you've ever heard, I don't know what is.

This is quite obviously where we have gone wrong!

Some of the players obviously couldn't afford to buy footballs and their skills are showing!

Buy these boys a football and we will turn things around!

Mark Jamar

Clint Bartram

Simon Buckley

Cale Morton has brought his old football over from WA. How silky are his skills!

I'm sure there are more that it is obvious they did not invest in a football this year!

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
