Robertson = pretender

Another typical Robbo display.

A few cheap goals in the last quarter when the game is well and truly over.

This bloke is a joke. I have well and truly had enough of him.

Can't believe we traded TJ and kept Robbo?!?!?!

Both should have gone!

G.Lyon..... What the hell were you thinking when you talked him into staying?!?!?! :o

we would have got about pick 30 for him. not a first rounder. thats why we didnt trade him. although i sort of wish we had've.

He is playing terribly at the moment and should be dropped.

But he is also leading our goal kicking. Just how bad is our forward line??

It's interesting that you can call Robbo out for kicking some goals when the game was over, yet Sylvia is a gun for picking up a few possessions across the half back line when the heat was well and truly out of the game.

It could be argued the Robbo finally had some decent delivery into a foward line left vacant largley to himself, and he could be running into some form.

I have calmed down and taken a deep breath. Robbo is down on confidence and he is a confidence player. He has been selfish of late but today he did chase and tackled. Sometimes he missed with the tackles but he was not Robinson Crusoe. I actually thought he played ok - not brilliantly. I am not considering his goals because as you say they were basically given to him. I am talking about his leading, his marking and teamplay (going up to congratulate and encourage teamates). I am not a huge fan of him but feel I should defend him on today's game.

Ps. Not in my best 6 this week before you come down hard on me.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

    They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
