Here we go again. We need a whole new forward line. Perhaps the midfielders should just run as far as they can and take shots from 50

I cant believe this same team made the finals 2 years ago? Did they lose everything overnight or what. Riduculous.

Umpires have been disgraceful....

But in all fairness, we are not in the same league!

This could be another long afternoon people!

This look like its gonna be worst loss so far, and i didnt think we could get any worse. How can we not even get a rushed behind? For gods sakes.

It hurts me to say this..... but.....

Jamar is rucking very well.....

His tap to Davey resulted in a goal to Dunny....

Then back in the centre he tapped it straight to Davey again!

:o

Qtr time

NMFC 4.8. 32

MFC 1.0. 6

Kangaroos have squandered many, many chances to be 10 goals in front....

Our boys look a bit lost out there....

Let's hope a good rev up from The Boss will result in a better 2nd Qtr (The fact that it takes a [censored] qtr before this happens is another story)

Our forward line is an absolute disgrace!

[censored] them all off back to Sandringham.....

Leader or no leader.... I don't give a [censored]!

If you don't present as an option, then you don't deserve your spot!

I don't want to just sit here and be negative, but we are struggling to find positives in our current efforts.

Aussie, Morton, Wheatley..... Some names who are giving their all....

Skipper took a mark.....

Right on 50m....

Doesn't make the distance?!?!?!?! :o

Our forward structure really needs a shake-up!

I've got a feeling Bailey has been going pretty easy on the boys so far....

He will unleash the fury after this crap!

we might win a game vs some under 10 team if we r lucky

no skills at all

dont no how 2 kick

handball

mark

tackle

chase

PLAY FOOTBALL

bunch of f***en girls

When you are relying on Rivers to present as an option in the forward line, then something is obviously wrong!!

Last 5 mins have been more like what we expect from our football club!

Some run, some decent decisions, and some goals.....

Some effort!!

It's not that hard really..... Every other bloody team does it!

Switch the backs and forwards......can't be any worse, and the backs would get a rest

Im starting to see the merit of moving neita to the backline. Everyone seems to think its a bad idea yet 90% of you want Ben holland back in who is not a 1/4 of the player neitz is and neitz is quicker. Give robbo some room up there to run around.

jamar and cj r a waiste of time

where is Meesen

y did we get him if we not even going 2 use him

we need Valenti on the list get ride of the old hags.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide

With their season all over bar the shouting the Demons head back on the road for the third week in a row as they return to Adelaide to take on the Crows. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
