Chase for Judd

Hawthorn are alleged to be out of the race, as it stated on websites and the Age today that Hawthorn had been told that Judd wasn't interested in them

So who's it out of now???- Us, Carlton, Collingwood....maybe Essendon but i doubt it

I still cannot believe Carlton are even in the race..why would you want to go there

Judd said there is 4 teams, so the list you mentioned would be the 4 i'm tipping.

Don't count on Carlton.

Don't count on Carlton.

it is us, eddiewood, caaarlton and the bummers..end of story

let's look at the facts:

He wants to play for either Melbourne, Collingwood, Carlton or Essendon

He wants to play for a team that plays regularly at the MCG: that's either Collingwood or Melbourne

He wants to play for a team that will be successful in the near future: again, that's either Collingwood or Melbourne- i dont care what people say, WE have a future, the bombers do not and carlton are a looonnngg way away from on field success.

He has has a soft spot for: The demons, because he loved them growing up and wore number 3 demons jumper as a junior!

West Coast will want to trade with a team with high draft picks- That's eiter Carlton or Melbourne- Collingwood have NOTHING to trade for Judd (their pick is pick 14ish).

Which club is the common denominator in every one of these important categories!

The demons!!

Watch us snare Judd- the best player in the afl!

pick 4+ pick 10 to WCE (pick 10 from Adelaide for Davey)

JUDDDDDD to melbourne.

What a way to have a fresh start in 2008

New coach, out with the old dead wood, and in with the best player in the afl

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
