The bottom 8 Premiership

Featured Replies

SO who is the best of the worst?

Assume that the Finals are to be played over the next 4 weeks, therefore all teams have current injury problems and the like. The prize is $1,000,000 so teams can go all out to take home the bottom 8 Premiership

Here is the draw for round 1 -

Western Bulldogs vs Richmond - Telstra Dome, Friday night

Melbourne vs Carlton - MCG, Saturday

Brisbane Lions vs Fremantle - GABBA, Saturday night

St.Kilda vs Essendon - Telstra Dome, Sunday

Brisbane, Freo, St.Kilda and Essendon all have the double chance. So can we take home the million? All roads lead through the GABBA I think

Saints for me, they were in good form, lions second, freo would have started brightly then lost half there side to mad monday on the day of the second game.

Put is this way we would not have a chance against St.Kilda anywhere, Bris at the Gabba and freo at Subiaco........

  • GAMEDAY: Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
