Neitz injured

Featured Replies

David Neitz hurt his knee today...

Looks like he won't be playing next week ... but more importantly, if this is serious, it could it be the end of his career.

I hope not as he is a legend of our club.

Does anyone have more information of the seriousness of the injury?

If he plays next week I'm not going.

Seriously, I've had enough of this 'playing with fire' crap.

He walked off the ground with the team, and looked ok. Hopefully it's just a flare up of the same knee, which he can now rest for a few months.

I am sick of the stupidity of the mfc why would you play a 300 game captain who's been suffering a knee injury in the dying stages of a thrashing??? He shouldn't have been playing anyway let alone so late in the game. I think the coaching staff need to have a major look at themselves. Lets hope they haven't cost the club their captain for next season. And next week...geez the only one who has anything to gain by a win is riley trying to save his doomed position in the shortlist. Bet theres a few other seniors with injuries taking to the field........
