Coming up after the break......just if you are near a TV you might want to have a look!

He said he was pretty much conscious through most of the ordeal. He remembered the doc saying if his condition deteriorated he would be sticking the needle into him. He said everything went purple (haze like) and then was fine again. He thought he must have lost consciousness for a couple of seconds but I suspect it was a bit longer. He must have recovered brilliantly as he insisted on listening to the rest of the game in hospital and was happy the boys got the win.

He also said he knew there was no collision but that something was wrong and waved for the doctor. Also said he was scared as he didn't know what was happening - understandable!

Wishing him a speedy recovery and a good break.

He listened to the rest of the game.....what a champ eh!

I am no doctor but it suddenly all makes sense now - as soon as I heard about the purple haze I thought "well that explains everything". There is a hidden message in all of this - am I the only one who gets it?

Purple Haze = Chris Conelly = look at the effect the thought of him coaching Melbourne has on our players - no wonder poor Ricky couldn't breathe!!!!!

hehe purple haze

Maybe it was just a combination of the red and blue all over the place  ?!!!
