    What a glorious day that was! I rewatched last night for like the 100th time. While I love the intensity and excitement of games as they’re happening, there’s something to be said about the enjoyment that comes from knowing what the end will be and being able to just truly appreciate how amazing that day was.

    I prefer to think of it as a reminder of how hard AFL premierships are to win. I'll always want more, but there is enormous emotional value in remembering 2021.

    And it's also appropriate to once again express my gratitude to the 2021 playing group, Simon Goodwin and his coaching team, and all who made it happen.
