Under 25s vs Over 25s

Featured Replies

Under 25s (born in 99 or earlier) - all have played this year aside from Jefferson and Fullarton

B: AMW       Petty      Howes

HB: Bowey  Turner   Woewodin

C:  Laurie    Sparrow  Windsor

HF: Pickett   JVR       Tholstrup

F:   Spargo   Jefferson Chandler

R:  Fullarton  McVee   Rivers

Over 25s (born in 98 or later)

B:    Hore    May   Tomlinson

HB: Salem  Lever  Billings

C:   Hunter Oliver  Langdon

HF: ANB     TMac  McAdam

F:  Fritsch  Schache  Melksham

R:  Gawn   Petracca  Viney

You could argue 10 from overs and 8 from unders for best 18 (bolded).  I'd have the italicised on the bench.

Overs 25s has the elites like Gawn, Petracca, May, Lever, Oliver, Fritsch but lacks run, and the remaining talls are on their last legs, also lots of bulls - Trac, Oliver, and Viney.

Petty, JVR, Turner and Jefferson look like they might be good long term replacements for the talls and the under 25 team has plenty of run, but lacks the bulls - Tholstrup might be the bull along with Sparrow.  Rucks also another issue - but there appear to be a few coming through in next years draft.

Has Spargo played this year?

Just game 1 but was underdone and then was injured the rest of the year.
