No, i don't. I will be super surprised if, in our finals set up, he is not playing as key defender.

It is no coincidence our defensive worries and less effective defensive intercepts have coincided with Petty going forward.

Out of the three games Petty's played forward, only Richmond had any obvious defensive and intercept worries, and if you believe the footy media, that was because Richmond were deliberately kicking the ball to grass to mitigate our intercept marking strength.  Petty's presence down bvack instead of one of the smalls would have likely made the situation worse.

Agree, I see Petty being back but being a potential swing man going forward if and when required, just like he has been recently used.

Pretty much like TMac being used in the past to swing back into defence if and when it was required.

Great pod as usual boys. Enjoyed the new intros, suitably daggy but in the best way! I reckon that unless Tmac and BBB start maximising contests up forward, allowing the smalls to do their best work, Harry Petty stays forward. He’ll have a 3-5 goal game soon (he’s very close), and the discussion will change. Disco Turner will be the next addition to the tall defender team.

Yep, that's exactly how I see hom being used - this year and beyond.
