This is to all Melbournefc fans who are able to go to our home matches,

GET TO THE GAME ON SUNDAY AND SUPPORT OUR BOYS THROUGH THESE TOUGH TIMES.

Don't be a slacker and sit at home and [censored] about the team, come to the G on sunday and cheer them on and keep our heads held high and show our opposition that we are strong and passionate supporters who will stick we the team through any situation.

Bump! Fair sentiments. Most here no doubt will go though. We need +20000 to turn a profit.

exactly id say the majority of the victorian supporters on this site will be there, which is why we come on here and bleed for days after a loss.

we need the average melbourne fan to want to come along and thats where we will struggle

cant expect too many port fans, they are getting stuff all to their own home games

Ill be there

Fly down!! Nah, fair enough.

But all Victorian Dees supporters, make the effort and support your team. I'll be there like I have every other game this season!

Fly down!!

Only joking here- give me the money and i will come down

Despite the disgraceful amount of uni work I haven't done yet, I too will be there (such a brilliant excuse to procrastinate).

At least we get to see Petterd in the flesh, if nothing else.

petterd is one of the reasons im actually looking forward to going this sunday and if newton gets a game well him too

ill be there as always...

mainly because of pettard i really liked the look of him... he will be a champion if he plays the rest of this season

even if he wasn't playing id still go anyways

As usual, I'll be there. If you're a Redleg and reading this....let's get the chant happening, hopefully enough to get our boys over the line!

I'll be there. As will the rest of The Mini-Ox Squad.

Go Demons!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
