Correct Dante, I believe he'd just won the flag with Myrtleford and got the call to come down and train with Melb during their Mad Monday. His response was something like "Sure, why not!"

That same week he he was also asked to fill in for the Melbourne reserves to play the following Saturday.

Our recruiters supposedly watched him on the day rack up over 30 disposals and dominated.

Rest is history as they say.
